Help Is Here

A simple stretching exercise can help relieve the tension in the thumb’s muscles. For this exercise, take a rubber band and wrap it around your thumb and index finger. Next, move your thumb and index finger in opposite directions from one another, hold for 3 seconds and then bring your thumb and index finger back together. It is recommended to perform this movement for about 20 repetitions. By doing this exercise, you will stretch overworked muscles thus protecting your thumbs from unwanted problems and complications due to constant texting.

In addition to addressing spinal health, chiropractic adjustments can help restore function and provide relief for a number of misalignment issues that can occur between the 27 bones of the wrist/hand. If you experience experience thumb pain due to excessive texting or any pain in your hand/wrist, chiropractic care has been shown to be an effective method of correcting the cause of your pain and preventing future problems.
