• Richard W. Sykes said that offering pornography on cell phones simply reflects the appalling state of our culture as well as the greed that prevails. It is also an indication of the decline of Western civilization.

• Cell phones are not just being used to communicate with other people, they are being used for pornography. Students of every age are at school keeping themselves occupied by pornography on their cell phones. Men and women of all ages may be doing the same during or after work.

• Cell phones are making pornography more accessible for younger kids. Parents are ignorant to the accessibility that their children have to pornographic images transmitted via cellular technology.

Text Bullies

• Historically, kids could find home as a sanctuary from bullying. Due to mobile phones, kids no longer have a ‘safe zone’.

• 16% of children between 11-19 have been harassed via texting. This includes hurtful messages and embarrassing pictures.

• In many cases, the bully doesn’t reveal their true identity, which is believed to add to the harmful effects due to the the lack of closure.
