Import Easily

Import electronic transcripts in many different formats—even import from LiveNote®. For example, TextMap imports electronic transcripts with any number of lines per page, with or without headers and footers, etc.

Pinpoint Words and Phrases Across Case Transcripts

As transcripts are imported into TextMap, each transcript word is indexed and added to a transcript dictionary that also includes the number of times the word was used in all transcripts and a “hits list” showing the specific transcripts, pages and lines where the word appears. This allows you to quickly pinpoint words and phrases across case transcripts. See screen on previous page.

Organize Transcript Details

Use TextMap alone—searching, annotating, adding notes and creating summary reports. Or cull key transcript passages with TextMap, then click and organize them in the CaseMap key-fact chronology feature. The TextMap program offers advanced integration with CaseMap not found in other transcript-management products.
