Auto accidents account for the highest

number of severe injuries and fatalities in

the workplace throughout the world and

they are the leading cause of death from ages 5 to 35.

2015

Despite gains in car safety, we

had an 8% increase in motor

vehicle fatalities, the largest

increase in the last 50 years.

2016 Preliminary estimates by NHTSA

indicate motor vehicle deaths

were 10.4% higher through the

first six months of 2016 than in

2015, and 18% higher than two

years ago at the six month mark.
