With the first three playoff seeds locked up, the fourth and final slot the Rhode Island High School Division I Playoffs is up for grabs. If East wins, they would gain the playoff berth. However, things are more complicated for West. For West to get into the play- offs they have to beat East by 10, and hold them to under 34, or win, and get help from a LaSalle loss. If LaSalle wins their game against East Providence, and West beats East, than the first tiebreaker comes down to head to head compe- tition. Since LaSalle beat West, East beat LaSalle, and West would’ve beaten East, that tiebreaker is nullified because they would all have 1-1 records against each other. The next tiebreaker is points allowed in pool play, which means in competition against each other. LaSalle allowed 21 points to West, and 36 to East, which totals 57. This year’s Thanksgiving Day game between the Cranston West Falcons and the Cranston East Thunderbolts will determine each team’s playoff fate. With the first three playoff seeds locked up, the fourth and final slot the Rhode Island High School Division I Playoffs is up for grabs.

If East wins, they would gain the playoff berth. However, things are more complicated for West. For West to get into the play-offs they have to beat East by 10, and hold them to under 34, or win, and get help from a LaSalle loss.

If LaSalle wins their game against East Providence, and West beats East, than the first tiebreaker comes down to head to head compe-tition.

West allowed 22 points to LaSalle, and if they allow 34 to East, that would total 56.
