Psa 92:1 A Psalm, a Song for the Sabbath day. Itis good to give thanks to the LORD And to sing

praises to Your name, O Most High;2 To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning AndYour faithfulness by night,3 With the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, Withresounding music upon the lyre.4 For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what Youhave done, I will sing for joy at the works of Yourhands.5 How great are Your works, O LORD! Your thoughts

are very deep.6 A senseless man has no knowledge, Nor does astupid man understand this:7 That when the wicked sprouted up like grass And allwho did iniquity flourished, It was only that they might

be destroyed forevermor e.



8 But You, O LORD, are on high forever.9 For, behold, Your enemies, O LORD, For, behold,Your enemies will perish; All who do iniquity will bescattered.10 But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil .

11 And my eye has looked exultantly upon my foes,My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.12 The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree,He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.13 Planted in the house of the LORD, They will

flourish in the courts of our God.14 They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall befull of sap and very green,15 To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my

rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

according to the good pleasure of His will,

to the praise of the glory of His grace,

by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved





Col 1:12 and giving joyful thanks tothe Father, who has qualified you toshare in the inheritance of his holy

people in the kingdom of light.Col 1:13 For he has rescued us fromthe dominion of darkness andbrought us into the kingdom of the

Son he loves,Col 1:14 in whom we haveredemption, the forgiveness of sins.NIV



The price for our release was paid by the blood

R OF DARKNESS

The power of darkness lulls us to sleep.

The power of darkness is skilled at concealment.

The power of darkness afflicts and depresses man.

The power of darkness can fascinate us.

The power of darkness emboldens some men.





Rom 13:11 And do this, understanding thepresent time: The hour has already come foryou to wake up from your slumber, becauseour salvation is nearer now than when wefirst believed.Rom 13:12 The night is nearly over; the dayis almost here. So let us put aside the deedsof darkness and put on the armor of light.



.. of the carnal security and drowsy frame of spirit which sometimes attend the churches andchildren of God,

( as in the account of the wise and foolishvirgins;) and lies in grace being dormant in thesoul;

in a backwardness to duty, and a slothfulness inthe performance of it;

in resting in the outward duties of religion;

in being lukew

arm about the cause of Christ;

in an INDIFFER ENCE about sins of omissionand commission;

and in a willingness to continue in such asluggish frame:

all which arise from a body of sin and death,

an over anxious care for the things of theworld;

from a weariness in spiritual exercises,











Now to Him who is able to keep you fromstumbling,And to present you faultless

Before the presence of His glory withexceeding joy,To God our Savior,Who alone is wise,

Be glory and majesty,Dominion and power,Both now and forever.Amen.
