DESCRIPTION
My little sister keeps grabbing the toys I want, what can I do? Should I yell to my Mom for help, or just grab the toy off my sister, or should try to find out what I can do that will work for us both? Mom would be really happy then. This book will help you help your child learn about good behavior choices, with lots of opportunities for interactive lessons on the way.

That Worked! That Worked!By Salem and Agnes de BezenacIllustrated by Agnes de Bezenac
I like to play with my little sister.
Our favorite game is “Animals
at Home”.
1
We build Lego houses for our toy animals.
2
But my little sister always wants what I have.
3
When I reach to get a piece of Lego, she wants it too.
4
If I want to play with the toy puppy, she wants it as well.
5
That really bugs me. What can we do to work
this out?
6
I know, I’ll tell mom that my sister is bugging me. She’ll take
care of it.
7
“Hmm” says mom. “It’s not fair to give me your problem. I’ve got lots of problems
to take care of already. I think that you can come up with something to try.”
8
But I don’t know how to work out this problem.
I can’t tell Sister what to do; she
never listens to me.
9
Hmm. I could try pinching her.
Oh no, I’ve tried that one before, and it didn’t work out so well for me.
10
I could grab the toy I want.
Nah. I think I’ve tried that too, and I didn’t like how that turned out either.
11
12
Maybe I could find her something that she likes, and exchange it with
her.
13
“Sister, would you like to play
with this monkey? He can climb this
tree, look!”
14
“Then I could go with the
puppy to visit your zoo”.
15
“Ok.” She says.
“That sounds like fun!”
16
Hey. That worked well.
I should try that more often.
