W Denim by Whoval (Turkey) grew out of the connection between the original know-how of the Turkish weaver W Denim and the art of the Japanese launderer Whoval. A specialized launderer and finisher since 1968, Merkoteks presents original jeanswear and casualwear collections, mostly feminine, aimed at the European market. They notably offer coatings and embroideries, and master cutting-edge techniques such as ozone washes and laser finishing. Chapstar by Paris Texas (Morocco). A manufacturing and laundering platform founded in 2006, Chapstar by Paris Texas produces collections in authentic and vintage style, destined for the French, Spanish and, more recently, the American markets. Feminine (60%) and masculine (40%) with strong added value, thanks especially to the presence of the design department offering multiple solutions in computer-assisted concepts. G & G Abbigliamento (Italy). A manufacturer and wash-house for more than 25 years, G & G proposes a complete offer responding to the masculine and feminine jeanswear market. The collections are created in a luxury and vintage spirit, and moreover the company has its own team of designers as well as a merchandising division. Wash Italia (Italy). A launderer founded in 1987, Wash Italia is an artisanal and technological laboratory dedicated to Italian creativity, with an international team and viewpoint. With experience and innovation as its leitmotifs, Wash Italia continually invests in research and respect for the environment, and recently created a school dedicated to the young talents of tomorrow. Among the technical possibilities offered are coloured resins, three-dimensional whiskers, screen printing, sublimated printing and digital printing. 1 MACHINE MANUFACTURER CONNECTING TECHNOLOGIES Macsa (Spain) is a manufacturer specialized in laser machines since 1990. Their technologies allow the imitation of human handwork as well as the passage of time on the indigo fabric, with effects of washes, whiskers, abrasions and rips. The laser technology is dedicated to ecological responsibility, with reduced water and energy consumption, while always preserving the textile materials. ACCESSORIES UNVEIL THEIR GALACTIC CREATIONS: A.P.Xpress (United Kingdom). Created in 1980, the A.P.Xpress company, originally specialized in labels and printed handtags, has diversified into buttons and rivets destined for the denim industry. Today the company proposes a large range of products for the middle-priced market and major denim brands. A supporter of young designers, since 2013 the company has sponsored the Amsterdam school specialized in denim.
