The 13th John M. Kinney Nestle Nutrition Awards

In recognition of Dr. John M. Kinney’s significant andseminal contributions to the field of clinical nutrition [1], TheNestle Nutrition Institute, in conjunction with Nutrition: TheInternational Journal of Applied and Basic Nutritional Sciencesand with the Nutritional Sciences, Education and ResearchFund, established three awards. The $6000 cash award isgiven to the first author of a paper that was accepted forpublication in Nutrition on an annual basis. The topic areas arepediatric nutrition, general nutrition, and nutrition and

metabolism. The winning paper in each category is selectedby an international committee of experts. The award cere-mony occurs usually in conjunction with the annual congressof the EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF PARENTERAL AND ENTERALNUTRITION (ESPEN), alternating with the AMERICAN SOCIETYOF PARENTERAL AND ENTERAL NUTRITION (ASPEN).
