Whileelectricdrivehelpssolveenergyandenvironmentalconcernsthatconfronttheautomotiveindustry,electricallydrivenvehiclescanalsohavezerotailpipeemissionsandlendthemselvestoenergydiversitysincetheelectricitycanbegeneratedfromawidevarietyofsources.Forexample,hydrogenfuelcellelectricvehiclespromiselong-range,rapidrefuelingandzeroemissions.Theyalsoprovideenergydiversitysincehydrogenandelectricityareinterchangeable.
