HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy stated that the Kingdom is “seeking to develop a system where carbon emissions are reduced, reused, recycled and removed to be used in other economically viable ventures to boost the economy”. The kingdom will develop a “closed loop system”, which will help restore carbon balance and contribute to global economic growth in a sustainable manner.

Innovative and digital tools enhance the real-time element of operations and communications and can be leveraged to cater to global decarbonization and climate change considerations. Staying sharp in this environment – especially amid lower oil prices and lower-carbon targets – are key elements for growth.
