Launched in 1990 as a stand-alone special issue, the AD1OO has since evolved into an annual survey of the top names in interior decoration, architecture, and landscape design. This month we again salute the creative talents who represent the best of the best—among them, 10 newcomers making their first appearance on the list. Good design knows no borders, so the blue-chip firms hailed on the following pages embody an international fellowship of trailblazers and standard-bearers whose work is as inspiring as it is influential.
