CAR FUMES• Problem: All big cities have

a huge problem with car fumes.

• Solution: We can reduce car fumes. We must not drive our car everywhere. We can use the bus or the metro.

FACTORY WASTE Problem: Sometimes factory

waste creates serious problems to us. Often the western destroy lakes and seas, and as a result the natural habitat of many animals.

This attitude can create health problems to us, i.e. breathing problems.

Solution: The factories can take special measures, i.e. filters, safe waste disposal methods.

ELECTRICITY• Problem: Our planet has a big

problem with the energy. Big cities use so much electricity that they may destroy the planet’s natural resources.

• Solution: We can turn off all the devices, we don’t need. We must use electricity carefully. For example: we can turn the screen of the computer when us have a break, or the TV power button when we leave home or sleep.

LITTER

• Problem: Litter is a problem in our country. One household produces a large amount of garbage. All the houses together produce way too much litter.

• Solution: We can reduce it by being careful about what we throw away because plastic, paper and aluminum can not recycled and certain containers can be reused.

WATER CONSUMPTION• Problem: Some

countries haven't got enough water and the water they do have is very dirty.

• Solution: People must be careful with how much water use. We must close the tap when we brush our teeth or we clean our car. We should also take showers instead of baths and fix any leaks immediately.

REUSE

Plastic containersand their usefulness • Some people make objects with

plastic containers like: • Plastic food bowls• Flower –pots • Glasses • Tool boxes

PLASTICS BAGS • If you throw one plastic bag away,

it will need 55 years to melt .So it is a good idea to use the plastic bag again and again or use bags made of paper or other recyclable materials.

BATTERIES

• The batteries can also be recharged. Don’t throw batteries away but recycle them.

What can we recycle?• We can recycle paper from magazines,

newspapers, books, and leaflets. • We can recycle aluminum from food tins

and soda cans.• We can recycle plastic bags and plastic

bottles.• We can recycle glass from bottles.
