ahead of back (toe-instep) Your stance arrow, the arrow pointing
perpendicularly out of the arch of your back foot, should be

Finish the throw ON BALANCE with your back foot ahead of your
front and everything still and balanced. You can only do this if
you utilize your left arm to produce torque and power out of the
throw. We always want our throwing shoulder pointed at the target
and our back leg to come thru.
