Casino Night on Memorial weekend sponsored by The Cloud 9 Cruisers Club brought in over $1,200.00. A check for that amount was recently presented to Coy Jackson, General Mgr., by the Cruisers Officers, Cindi Morrison and Deanna Armstrong, to purchase grounds-keeping equipment. Cruisers are sponsoring another Casino Night event for Labor Day Weekend. Teaming up with Ranch Restaurant and Ranch Outfitters, the theme will be Isle of the Ozarks, with a Luau atmosphere and trop- ics inspired food and drinks. In addition to the above check presented to the Ranch, at a recent meeting the Cruisers approved the purchase of items for much needed playground restoration. This week, Project Coordinator, Wendell Ward, got new swings, teeter-totter, trapeze bars, etc., and with the help of his brother, Myron, replaced some of the broken or missing items in the campground play areas. class given has been a huge success. The last

class scheduled was on August 10th.

We would also like to thank the volunteers who

took the time to helped to teach the craft

Live at the Ranch August 27th

Name the Colt If you have not done so yet, take the time

to stop by the Stables and visit the new

foal. C9R needs your help in finding the

perfect name for our newest edition. If

you would like to submit a name for the

foal you can do so at the Ranch Office.

Each name submitted will be 50 cents.

Proceeds for the name selection goes to

the C9R Volunteer Fire Department and

First Responder Programs. The name will

be selected at the end of the summer.

The last evening ride we had was in „07

and we have had many requests for a

repeat. We will launch sometime

around twilight and come in after the

sun goes down!
