Nina started beekeeping at nine-years old after learning how

interesting honey bees are from her4H club. Since then, she has learned

even more about honey bees andtheir world. She started keeping bees

in a Top Bar hive and then earnedher Langstroth hive through her 4H

club. Nina earned the Most ValuableBeekeeper Award in 2017 for her

work in the 4H club as well asearning third place for her beeswax in

the Virginia State Fair. Her beephotography has earned first place ina beekeeper club contest. She enjoys

art and baking in her free time.
