Physics has accumulated quite a number ofconstants, and there are many physical

constants in science. Some of the most widely recognized include as follows:

Aphysical constantis aphysical quantitythat is generally believed to be both

universal in nature andconstantin time. It is contrasted with amathematical

constant, which is a fixed numerical value, but does not directly involve any

physical measurement. Physical constants can take manydimensionalforms. For

instance the speed of light signifies a maximumspeedlimit of theUniverseand is

expressed dimensionally aslengthdivided bytime. But thefine-structure constant,7.297 352 5698[24] e-3 which characterizes the strength of the electromagnetic

    interaction, isdimensionless.

Whereas thephysical quantityindicated by any physical constant does not depend

on the unit system used to express the quantity, the numerical values ofdimensional

physical constants do depend on the unit used. Therefore, a numerical value such as

299,792,458 for the constantspeed of lightc is expressed in units of meters persecond, and is not a value that a theory of physics can be expected to predict.

However, the ratios of like-dimensioned physical constants do not depend on unit

systems in this way because their units cancel, so they are puredimensionless

numberswhose values a future theory of physics could conceivably hope to predict.

Thus, theoretical physicists tend to regard these dimensionless quantities as

fundamental physical constants. It is known thatthe Universe would be very

different, if these constants took values significantly different from those we

observe. For example, a change of a few percent in the value of the fine structure

constant would be enough to eliminate stars like our Sun.

Some physicists have explored the notion that if thedimensionless physical

constantshad sufficiently different values, our Universe would be so radically

different that intelligent life would probably not have emerged, and that our

Universe therefore seems to befine-tunedfor intelligent life. The anthropic

principle states a logicaltruismthat the fact of our existence as intelligent beings

who can measure physical constants requires those constants to be such that beings

like us can exist. RecallBarrow, 2002as follows:

An important lesson we learn from the way thatpure numbers like define

the world is what it really means for worlds to be different. The pure number

we call the fine structure constant and denote by is a combination of the

electron charge, e the speed of light, c and Planck's constant, h. At first we

might be tempted to think that a world in which the speed of light was slower

would be a different world. But this would be a mistake. Ifc, h, and e were all

changed so that the values they have in metric (or any other) units were

different when we looked them up in our tables of physical constants, but the

value of remained the same, this new world would be observationallyindistinguishable from our World. The only things that count in the

definition of worlds are the values of the dimensionless constants of Nature.

If all masses were doubled in value you cannot tell, because all the pure

numbers defined by the ratios of any pair of masses are unchanged.

The agape constant, Fis a factor ofhuman intellect, and it is dimensionless. It is

derived from the ratio of the mental capacity foranalysis, F1 on the equivalent

capacity forsynthesis, F2. Given a phenomenon therefore, is the person able to

reduce it into the essentials that give it being? And then to put the items back

together, so that they make meaning and sense? This measure has been predicted

from the ratio ofrationality, Rn on the standard procedure index, n.Rn is thecapacity to reduce phenomena into thefive, 5 essential components, as required by

theperception model of mind, PMM(analysis?). And n measures the performanceat task by the standard procedure(synthesis?). The standard procedure series, SPS

is a format for presenting informationmeaningfully in six, 6 pieces ofdata, so that

phenomena are at once describedandprocedurised. Consider the following thesis:

In this case the value, Xmeasures the capacity to turn what is known, into what is

done. This is the capacity to convert knowledge into action. But action is a function

of the following two, 2 factors:

    Morals, and

    Ethics

While morals arephenomenological, ethics are behavioural. The

phenomenological connects knowledge to actions. This characterises people at once,

as both intangible and tangible respectively. The tangible behavioural component of

the person has long been subjected to scrutiny by psychology. Phenomenology has

however defied analysis so far, for reasons of inappropriate measurement

techniques. This has awaited the formulation of the correct link that describes the

interface between the human and the physical world. The link involves a clear and

consistent definition of the energy transfer between the two, 2worlds.

The energy that converts knowledge into action is derived from the inanimate.

Following the argument of a world that is self contained, energy would neither be

created nor destroyed. It is merely recycled, being converted from one form into

another. This definition does not negate creation. Rather, it justifies the assertion that

the wave modeldefines the human-physical interface. The model unites people with

the physical, ascribing the same fundaments to both. When people are able to

perceive the inner nature of phenomena therefore, it would only be an expression of

who they are. The person merely transfers their nature on phenomena, when they

describe people, places, and things. People project themselves on phenomena, so

that when they describe to characterise, it is actually their own characters that is

expressed. When people put a value on phenomena, it is in reality, a manifestation of

    their individual value.

By implication, people portray who they are uniquely, when they present their

perspectives of phenomena. It is this perspective that is evaluated against the

standard procedure series, SPSon the F-Scale. TheSPSis a unit procedure that is

iterated as many times as is required, to accomplish a task. This makes it self

contained, like the physical world. In principle, when the standard procedure is

designed correctly, it continues to run, ad infinitum.

Following Einsteins energy equation, e = mc2, energy is released by fission, when

mass is split. And by a rule in algebra, when a number is split in two, 2, the multiple

    5/10

of the pair is largest when they are equal. This is a reference to symmetry, as

expressed in the normal curve. A perspective of phenomena is symmetrical when it

approximates the duality series in operations research exactly. This series comprises

    four, 4 items as follows:

    Maxima,Impulse (L, E)

    Minimax,Nature (S, E)

    Maximin,Nurture (L, M)Minima, Sustenance (S, M)

The two, 2 inner items ought to be equal, formaximin = minimax, even when they

start out being different. In a typical perspective of phenomena the maximin

describes the minimum requirement for the phenomenon to exist. And the minimax

identifies the upper limit, beyond which optimisation would be ineffectual. These

describe the nurture and nature items respectively. They are developmental,

defining thephenomenons limits of existence. In our world, life starts out fragile,

and has to be nurtured into maturity, which would be its real nature. The two, 2 end

items are supposed to be inverses. They describe thegrowth process that traversesthe chasm or gap, to link the two, 2 inner items. The top item or maxima describes

the impulse element that determines the rate of growth. And the lower item or

minima, identifies the sustenance of the process.

For both pairs of items, one of them represents the location, L property of the

phenomenon; and the other, its size, Sto portray the wave nature. The ratio of the

location items on the size items predicts thefactor-F. The ratios of bothLs andSs

are first derived, to make the prediction from single factors ofL and S. Then the

factor-Fis clearly dimensionless, possessing the potential to change the way the

world looks. In this case however, it is not the physical world that is altered, but the

society, community, or group to which the person belongs. This factor is actually a

measure of the amount ofentropy or chaos that a person contributes to the

environment. Its limit is determined by the entropy contribution associated with the

second law of thermodynamics. Beyond thermodynamic decay, entropy is inimical.

Measurement on the F-Scale is done infaith dimensions, F-d. It quantifies trustor

dependability, as the extent to which a person can be depended upon to deliver,

according to specification. It is best at a unity, forF = 1. It drops as the scores

increase as integers or decrease as fractions from a unity; as does dependability.

    .

  • 7/31/2019 The Agape Constant, F

    6/10

For application, recall that the F-Score is derived in two, 2 different ways. It is

derived on thePMMas a moralfactor. In this case, the input to the measurement is

thef0-score, which is derived on thef-scale. Then the following dictum applies:

    If it is right,

    Then it is good

It is rightwhen the F-Score is a unity. Thengoodness depreciates with the observeddeviance. Every time the F-Score is evaluated from thef0-score, it is a measure of

morals. However, when it is evaluated from the factorsRn and n, it measuresethicalstandards. This measure is input to the need profile, which evaluates the

factor-Po. This factor is a measure of how muchpower, Po is stored in the

personality, Pfor the response, R to stimuli, S. It is basis for the objective

classification of people into the following categories:

    Integration,Po 0.98 forNu 4Adjustment, 0.88 < Po < 0.98 for2 < Nu < 4

    Adaptation, 0.73< Po < 0.88 for1< Nu < 2

Thefacto-Nu measures the number of essentials that a person is able to identify. It is

derived from thefactor-Po. Below a score of0.73, forPo < 0.73, the person would

be unfit forrecommendations. This would fall below the acceptable minimum

human limit. This is when the person is not able to identify even a single of the five,

    5 essentials.

Thefactor-Sis a measure ofsoul, Sthat derives from thefactor-f0. Just like the

factor-Po has ethicalimplications, this factor has moralconnotations. The soulis

the store house of all the energy that is available to a person for use. It is a mass thatis accumulated as people act. The energy that drives actions is therefore acquired

according to the persons moral standing.Notice the seeming contradiction!

Behaviour is linked to ethics, and knowledge to morals. But Soul, which derives

from actions and is behavioural, is linked to morals. Whilepower, Po which is

ethical becomes linked with knowledge, with its base in morals. In reality, this is not

a contradiction. Rather, it defines a cycle that establishes the fact ofself

containmentin the personality. In principle, this cycle begins with the moral, as

represented by thefactor- f0. Thefactor- f0 is actually a measure of the

approximation of the natural order,N-O, outlined here in the duality series.

  • 7/31/2019 The Agape Constant, F

    7/10

The f0-score translates into thefactor-Forpersonality, Fwhen it is passed through

thePMM. Thefactor-Fis then passed through the need profile to define thepower,

Po stored in the personality, for responses to stimuli. It is these responses that

cumulate to define soul, the source of energy for the thought process,f0. Serially:

In reality however, which is demonstrated on the sigmoid curve, S-Curve humans

start put aspersons, Fat birth. But they descend into the abyss ofobjectivity,f0

where they exchange thepersonal order, P-O for the natural order, N-O. It is in this

process that thepower, Po for building the soul, Sis acquired.

Given morals,f0 therefore the ethical, Fis determined. While thefactor-f0 defines

the location attribute, thefactor-Frepresents the size property of the personality

function. This is repeated with the factorsPo andSin a reversed mirror image.Po

is ethical, but defines the location attribute. AndSis a size property that is moral. In

predicting thefactor-Fon this series therefore, the ratio of the locational attributes

on the size properties is evaluated. But these ratios derive from another ratio. The

mantissa of the location properties,L is derived from the ratio ofPo onf0. This is

the same as the ratio of the ethical, Eon the moral, Mwhich is actually a reversal. F

andSalso define the denominator of the size properties in reverse order, as the ratio

of ethics on morals; rather than morals on ethics, representing thegiven and the

    determinedrespectively.

  • 7/31/2019 The Agape Constant, F

    8/10

Notice that in predicting thefactor-F, it is actually the persons level ofinternal

consistency that is measured. This quantifies reliability, and therefore trust and

dependability, according to how rightpeople are in theiranalysis of phenomena. To

make analysis, a minimum ofreason ie required. This optimises into rationality, at

the upper limit. The gap between these is traversed according to the sophistication of

    the persons thoughtprocess. This is the impulse that turns reason into rationality;

the moral into the ethical, and the location attribute into the size property. This

makes thoughtat once ethical and locational. It is behavioural in character, but

functionally, it determines how the mind works. Serially:

    The Soul Series

Reason, rationality, thought, and mind are requirements for the human person to

make objective analysis of phenomena. From the above series, these requirements

can be attained because of how people are constituted. Humans have bodies that

enable them to function adequately in the physical world. The five, 5 senses make

communication possible with the physical environment. Then a person would be as

good as dead, when the senses are out of order. People with such conditions have

been referred to as vegetables. This appears to be a reference to the fact thatplants

cannot reason. They dont have the minimum requirement to be grouped as humans.

Humans also have spirit. It is the domain of morals and ethics. Spirit is housed in thebody. And it moves the body, via the mind. The mind is the abode for reason,

thought, or rationality. It is the interface between spirit and body. When the mind

functions optimally therefore, reason, thought, and rationality are at their best. Then

morals and ethics would be appropriate. And this would translate into actions that

are good, being the right responses to stimuli. This maintains harmony in the

environment, and the body is physically healthy.

Thus, the first, 1st four, 4 factors on the soul series define requirements that need to

be satisfied, for these expectations of the body and spirit to be attained. This is

    3. Thought, (L, E) Personality (Constant)

    2. Rationality, (S, E) 6. Body, 21

    1. Reason, (L, M) 5. Spirit, 19

    4. Mind, (S, M)

  • 7/31/2019 The Agape Constant, F

confirmed in another measure of internal consistency. In this case, the body is a

function of the two, 2growth factors, including reason and rationality. And the

spirit is a function of the two, 2 developmentfactors that include thoughtand mind.

When the personality is conceptualised as a projection of the mind, the growth

factors define the emotion, L; the development factor define the intellect, F; and the

body and spirit define the will, A. Then thefactor-A is predicted from the factorsL

and F, according to the following relation:

    A = LF2

The factorsL, F, andA are first evaluated as relativity averages as follows:

    L = (Reason x Rationality)F = (Thought x Mind)

    A = (Body x Spirit)

Recall that by Platonian duality, physical appearances are mere shadows of reality.

Then reality would be perceived appropriately only when the essentials areidentified. This represents the inner nature of the phenomenon, which determines its

existence and being. Then the people who are able to identify essentials have also

found the essential elements of their own being and the basis for their existence,

which they project on phenomena. They have made the descent from Finto the

abyss off0. They have traded off thepersonal order, P-O for the natural order, N-

    O. They have shifted from the concern with appearances, to the perception of

essentials. Following Gary Zukav in 1989, they have adopted the multi-dimensional

for the five, 5 dimensional thought pattern. It is only such people that can be

expected to be internally consistent. This translates into appropriate action, and thecapacity to deliver according to specifications. They belong in the team of20%ters,

who do 80% of the work in most organisations.

Following from the above, the assertions presented below would make sense:

Thepersonality, Fis a constant, according to the capacities with which it is

endowed, as outlined on the soul series above.

But the value, Xof the person varies, as the capacities are optimised.

The goal ofsocialisation and upbringingwould therefore be for the value, Xto

  • 7/31/2019 The Agape Constant, F

approximate theperson, Fexactly, forX = F. This is achieved in cultures, which

would have to be optimised and made equal to this task. The whole history of

humanity, and the world, centres on the evolution of the appropriate culture.

Humanity has journeyed far into this epoch. See the chart below:

    A Unitary History of Humanity

Moreover, in the same way that reason distinguishes between plant and human life,

rationality also defines the limit of animal life. Animals may learn sophisticated

tricks, as evident in circus shows, but humans have to derive theprocedure that is

learned. Ifreason is necessary forlearning, then rationality is, forprocedurisation.
