THE AMAZING EGG!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:• A peeled hardboiled egg• Bottle with a wide-mouth (but not so large that the egg just falls in)• Match or lighter*• Paper• Scissors

*NEVER use matches or a lighter on your own.Ask an adult for help before starting this experiment. 

HOW TO DO IT:1. Cut a strip of paper, about 8” long and 1” wide.2. With the help of an adult, ignite the paper on one end with the match or lighter and quickly drop it in the bottle. 3. Now, gently rest the egg on top of the jar. What do you think will happen?4. Keep watching! As the paper extinguishes the egg should fall into the bottle!
