Job 14:7 SIMEON – MALE – MARCH 2012 Introverted Simeon is a lile boy who enjoys listening to music and playing with the toys on the toy shelf. He kicks his cushion when there is music playing and will laugh happily when teased. Simeon enjoys sing against his cushion and watching the other children play. He is close to his caregiver and enjoys being cuddled and makes ah ahsounds when he is happy. ASHER – MALE – OCTOBER 2011 Though quiet, Asher is an energec lile boy with a beauful smile. He recog- nizes familiar people and is happy to see his caregivers. He likes to look at the colorful pictures on the wall. Asher is a deep sleeper and a finger sucker. He has learned to pull himself to standing and is eang table food. He enjoys mu- sic, toys, and games. FAITH– FEMALE – DECEMBER 2014 Sweet Faith is described as a cute, clever, and quiet girl with a plump face and bright eyes! She does not oſten become upset and is especially content and excited at mealme. An acve toddler, Faith loves to parcipate in physical acvies, especially ones that involve balls. Toys that make sounds, like rales, will hold her aenon for a periods of me as well. ABRAM – MALE – APRIL 2014 Abram is an observant lile boy who enjoys toys with sound. He knows his name, turning when his caregivers call him, and greets familiar caregivers with a smile. He watches his caregivers as they move around the room and will reach out to grab a nearby toy. Abram can roll over and enjoys rocking in the cradle. SARAI – FEMALE – MARCH 2014 Sarai is a playful lile girl who enjoys exploring her surroundings. She enjoys playing with rales and finds joy in pulling off her socks with her teeth. She is aenve and will turn around when she is called. She can sit up, roll over, and can hold her head up straight when cuddling with caretakers. She smiles when she is teased and recognizes those she is familiar with. She also had a good appete.

SIMEON – MALE – MARCH 2012 Introverted Simeon is a little boy who enjoys listening to music and playing with the toys on the toy shelf. He kicks his cushion when there is music playing and will laugh happily when teased. Simeon enjoys sitting against his cushion and watching the other children play. He is close to his caregiver and enjoys being cuddled and makes “ah ah” sounds when he is happy.

ABIJAH – MALE – MAY 2014 Abijah is an alert baby boy who tends to be quiet but is always ready with a smile. He watches moving objects and searches for the source of sounds. Abijah particularly enjoys activities involving sound, such as listening to music or ringing a little toy bell.

ZECHARIAH – MALE – JUNE 2013 Zechariah is a generally happy little boy who is making good progress in his foster home. He gets along well with his foster family members and made the adjustment easily to his foster home. He is energetic, can crawl freely, and can stand and walk with support. Zechariah is starting to say words, has a strong imitation ability, and enjoys interacting with people.

REUBEN– MALE– JUNE 2015

Reuben is energetic, extroverted, and always ready to participate in new activi-ties! His favorite things include taking a bath, listening to music and playing out-doors when the weather is nice. Currently, Reuben can turn over freely, raise his head and actively use his hands. He responds to other's speech with facial ex-pressions.

ELIJAH – MALE – APRIL 2014 Elijah is a sweet little boy who loves to be held and interact with his caregivers. At 8 months old, he could roll over and sit with support. His caregivers share that he likes to be teased, and when they speak to him, he will sometimes babble back. He observes his caregivers' movements around the room and is always ready to flash a smile at them.

TIMOTHY – MALE – FEBRUARY 2015 Timothy has already discovered his love for playing outdoors and playing games with others! This happy and easy-going boy also enjoys being cuddled and tickled by his caregivers, listening to music, and playing with rattles and toy cars. Timothy shows fascination with watching others speak and will imi-tate opening and closing his mouth and will make sounds.

THOMAS – MALE – OCTOBER 2012 Thomas is a loving boy who enjoys being held by his teacher and caretakers. He gets along well with his classmates. He understands simple instructions and can climb up and down stairs while holding his teacher's hand. His fine motor skills are progressing, as he is able to hold his glass to drink water, and can stack blocks and string together big beads. His speech is also beginning to emerge as he can call "Mom."

JOEL – MALE – JULY 2013 Joel is a shy child who enjoys outdoor activities. He has strong imitations skills and will shake his head or stick his tongue out, mimicking a caregiver's actions. He also laughs at himself in the mirror. Joel is able to turn over, pick up small objects, and sit while leaning against support.

ISHMAEL – MALE – SEPTEMBER 2013 Ishmael is a quiet, well-behaved little boy who loves to play outside. He can stand for a long time with his hands holding something for support, feed himself with his fingers, and he imitates simple words. He wraps his arms around his caregivers neck and wants to be held longer. Ishmael is described as a sweet boy who gets along well with the other children.

JONAH – MALE – NOVEMBER 2013 Jonah is a quiet little boy who enjoys listening to music. Though shy, he gets along well with the other children. At 1 year old, Jonah could turn over, crawl, and sit for a while without support. He also babbles and imitates words. Jonah loves being held, and he laughs out loud and touches his caregiver's face when she kisses him.

ELAM – MALE – JANUARY 2014 Elam is a quiet little boy who loves to be held and will hold out his arms to his caregiver as she walks by. He is attracted to toys with bright colors and watches his caregivers as they move around the room. He has learned to roll over and sit with support. Elam likes to listen to music and laughs aloud when happy.

LEVI – MALE – JUNE 2014 Levi, like most toddlers, is active and all about playing with lots of toys! Among his favorites are stuffed animals and blocks. Levi lives with a foster mom and dad and has developed a close bond with them and also his caregivers at the welfare institute. While Levi isn't speaking entire words yet, the nannies report that his expressive facial reactions speak louder than words!

SOLOMON – MALE – MARCH 2013 Solomon is an active, energetic little boy. Like many children his age, he loves music, toys, and games. As of the fall of 2015, Solomon was able to crawl and stand and was learning to walk. He is close to his caregivers and can follow their simple directions. They share that he is a clever and lovely child, and they sin-cerely wish him to have a happy home.

JUDAH – MALE – MAY 2016 Judah is active and energetic baby boy and will coo and giggle to show he is hap-py! He has formed visible attachment to his caregivers (he is soothed when rocked and cradled by them) and can distinguish between familiar and unfamil-iar people. Judah's favorite activities include making music with his rattle and playing with brightly- colored toys.

ELISHA – MALE – MARCH 2014 Elisha is a quiet baby who is typically in good spirits. He enjoys playing with fingers and toys that make sound, and he is fond of listening to music. He is close to his caregivers and will sometimes laugh aloud. His nannies hope Elisha will grow up healthily and live his life safely.

TABITHA – FEMALE – JANUARY 2010 Tabitha is a shy but happy little girl who gets along well with other children. Her caregivers share that she is a little like a big sister, helping other children when they are being bullied and assisting younger children to pick up toys. Tabitha has strong imitation abilities and follows directions well. Her caregivers are hopeful that she will find a loving family.

TOBY – MALE – AUGUST 2013 Toby is a spirited little boy who is not easy to cry. He enjoys listening to music and with the appropriate resources he should make good progress with his development. He appears to be introverted and a bit stubborn!

PHILLIP – MALE – MAY 2014 Active Phillip loves to be teased by his caregivers and enjoys playing with toys. He is alert and observant, turning when his name is called and watching his nan-nies as they move around the room. At 10 months old, Phillip could hold his head and chest up off the floor and was learning to sit independently. He is close to his caretaker and interacts well with her, responding to facial expressions. Phillip has a cute little smile and likes to be held and rocked.

EZRA – MALE – JUNE 2011 Ezra is a quiet boy with a ready smile. He interacts with his caregivers and likes to be held and cuddled. However, he is also in constant motion! Ezra can speak simple words such as “mama” and is able to walk with assistance. One of his favorite activities is listening to music.

DAN – MALE – AUGUST 2015 Little Dan is always ready to participate in new activities! Some of this boy's fa-vorite things include taking a bath (where he likes to splash in the tub!) and sitting on the grass outside on nice days and looking at the flowers. Dan can turn over freely, raise his head up when on his stomach, and actively uses both hands during everyday tasks. He also will respond to other's speech with facial expres-sions and is very in-tune with his environment.

SAMUEL – MALE – JUNE 2012 Samuel is a shy child with a quick smile who gets along well with the other chil-dren. He enjoys playing with balls and swinging, and he likes to play hide and seek. Samuel may be a budding musician; he’s shown a keen interest in the elec-tric piano and laughs aloud at the sound when he plays the keys!

GABRIEL – MALE – APRIL 2014 Gabriel is a quiet child but laughs loudly when tickled. He enjoys music and any toy that makes noise. He turns his head in response to his name and is able to track a moving toy. Gabriel has learned to roll himself over, and he can sit with support. He loves being held by his caregivers and interacting with others.

ADAM – MALE – MAY 2014 Active little Adam seeks out the source of sounds and watches his caregivers as they move around the room. He is reportedly a deep sleeper who is fond of lis-tening to music and will grasp toys and happily waive them around. He gets very excited when he sees his milk bottle!

SAMSON – MALE – MAY 2014 Samson is a quiet infant who likes to look at pictures. He has been living with a foster family since he was about a year old and has been making great progress in that environment, learning to turn over and sit with support from his hands. Samson likes to babble, and though his caregivers report that he is "afraid" of being tickled, he will laugh when they softly touch his neck.

JOHN – MALE – DECEMBER 2012 John is an active boy who enjoys music, watching TV, and playing games. He is very loving to his foster family and will crawl quickly to his foster mom to give her lots of hugs. He is able to stand alone and is starting to walk while holding onto something for balance. He can understand the words spoken by his family and can speak simple words.

NATHAN – MALE – JUNE 2015 Nathan is a happy and social boy who brightens a whole room with his warm smile and laugh! Nathan currently lives with a foster family, to whom he has adjusted quite well. It's reported that Nathan can sit up on his own, raise his head when on his stomach, roll over, and stand with support. Nathan also loves to listen to music, play games with other children, and play with blocks and toy rattles.

RUTH – FEMALE – AUGUST 2014 Ruth is described by her nannies as a shy child, but she will share her sweet smile when she is spoken to. She responds to her nannies with babbling, and she laughs when they try to kiss her. She loves to play with the toys on the toy shelf.

PETER – MALE – DECEMBER 2014 Peter is an active little boy who loves being outside. His caregivers share that he likes to suck his fingers and will kick off his quilt in the morning when he wakes up. He can hold up his head to watch movement around the room. Peter is not particularly shy with strangers and has close relationships with his caregivers.

JAMES – MALE – JUNE 2014 James is a active boy who loves rattles. At 9 months, he was able to pick up toys near him, and he likes to shake them to hear the sounds they make. He is also fond of listening to music. He can visually follow toys and will look for the source of sounds. James can hold up his head and has learned to roll over. He is a deep sleeper and becomes happy when he sees his milk bottle- he must be a good eater too!

JEREMIAH – MALE – APRIL 2008 Jeremiah is a cheerful child who enjoys playing with other children and holding their hands when going for a walk. He is very attached to one of his caregivers and runs to her when she comes into the room. Jeremiah can run and jump and is able to complete simple tasks such as coloring and gluing papers. He smiles at adults and will sometimes run to them to be held. His caregivers share that Jere-miah loves having his photo taken!

SILAS – MALE – JUNE 2014 Silas is an active child who enjoys playing with a bell or a rattle. He appears to be doing well following surgery on his heart, and he can roll over and sit inde-pendently. He likes music, is quick to smile, and has a good appetite. He recog-nizes familiar people and is happy to see them.

GIDEON – MALE – MARCH 2015 Gideon is an energetic, extroverted, and active little boy who is most happy when playing with toys, spending time outdoors with friends, and listening to music; he also really enjoys baths too! Gideon is able to freely turn over from his stomach to his back, raise his head up on his own when lying on his stomach, and stand when holding onto a rail or one of the nannies' hand. He is also beginning to imitate words he hears and babbles.

JACOB – MALE – JANUARY 2014 Jacob is a sweet boy with rosy cheeks and a beautiful smile. His nannies say he is well adjusted, and he responds well to them and smiles when he is happy. Jacob can grasp toys in his hands and loves to shake them. His nannies say his favorite toys are rattles. When Bethany staff met him in November 2015, he appeared to be quite alert, following the movements and activities of the people around him.

BENJAMIN – MALE – DECEMBER 2011 Benjamin is a timid and restless boy who crawls quickly and is standing up with caretaker support. He enjoys looking in the mirror to make faces at himself and even gives himself kisses! Benjamin enjoys playing with a musical keyboard and dancing to the music. He is close to his caregivers and, like many children his age, can be a bit jealous of their attention.

DANIEL – MALE – DECEMBER 2014 Little Daniel is an active and extroverted baby boy. He can sit and roll over on his own and was learning to crawl at 13 months. He recognizes familiar faces and smiles when teased. Daniel loves to play with toys that require movement. He also enjoys listening to music and playing with bells to create his own sounds.

SIMON – MALE – MARCH 2010 Simon is a sensitive boy with a ready smile. He is learning to be independent, as he can eat, drink, dress himself, and is toilet trained. He is described as a smart child who is very active. Simon also enjoys music and is fond of imitation. He is very loving to his foster family, and they hope he will have loving parents to take care of him soon.

ZION – MALE – JUNE 2016 Zion is described by his caregivers as a cute and active boy who has exceptionally bonded with those he interacts with on daily basis in the care center. Playing outside and making music with his rattle are two things Zion enjoys. At this time his motor skills are age-appropriate for his diagnosis: he can hold head up while lying on stomach, roll over without help, identify source of nearby sounds.

DELILAH– FEMALE – NOVEMBER 2016 This sweet baby girl is quiet and observant and loves to engage with musical and bright colored toys. On days with nice weather, she enjoys spending time playing in the sun. Delilah will coo, giggle, and smile to show she is happy. When upset, she is easily comforted by being held by her caregiver.
