We will be emphasizing items each month that we can collect. The item for August is Fruit Juices. As you shop for groceries, look for good buys on Fruit Juices and bring them to the church. All the participants who signed up for the June 13 date are on our list for the rescheduled date. We have room for a few more workers. If you’d like to participate, please call the church office or contact Nancy Barbee. You can fine more information on Fancy Finds at www.fancyfinds.org. Church Wide Breakfast Sunday, August 25th, 8:45am Come join the fellowship and enjoy a wonderful breakfast of Pancakes and a choice of Bacon or Sausage. Please RSVP to the Church Office by August 22. Sr. Adult Retreat - September 24-26 Flat Rock, NC Tuesday - Thursday, September 24 - 26, the Sr. Adults are headed to the mountains of NC for a 3 day, 2 night retreat in Flat Rock, NC. Chartered bus transportation will be with Crossroads Charters & Tours, and accom- modations will be at the beautiful Bonclarken Retreat Center in the heart of Flat Rock. Daily times of devotion and spiritual renewal will be led by Wayne Trexler. We will visit Sky Top Orchard to pick apples and enjoy a wagon ride around the top of the mountain. While in the area we will also visit the NC Arboretum in Asheville, the Moose Café and the Asheville Farmer’s Market. We will enjoy a live theater performance of Cinematastic: The Music of the Movies” at the Flat Rock Playhouse. The trip also includes a guided tour of The Cove, the Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville. The visit includes Chatlos Memorial Chapel and Ruth’s Prayer Garden. If you love the mountains and are looking for a great get away with friends, a time of spiritual renewal and inspiration, plenty of great food and relaxed excursions in the beauty of God’s creation, then this is the trip for you! The trip includes transportation, accommodations, all of the above attractions AND 5 meals. Cost: Double (2 per room 2 double beds): $282.00 per person; Triple (3 per room 2 double beds): $240.00 per person Make your reservation NOW by paying a deposit of $100.00 per person. Workshop to Benefit Fancy Finds - Baptist Children’s Homes

Flat Rock, NC Tuesday - Thursday, September 24 - 26, the Sr. Adults are headed to the mountains of NC for a 3 day, 2 night retreat in Flat Rock, NC. Chartered

bus transportation will be with Crossroads Charters & Tours, and accom-modations will be at the beautiful Bonclarken Retreat Center in the heart
