The “Seven Reasons” To Reface Your Kitchen… Did you know that most people actually don’t need to replace their kitchen cabinets, yet most kitchen remodeling companies tell them they do? Read on, and discover why refacing often makes the most sense. 1) Cost is usually the first question on people’s minds when considering to have their cabinets refaced. Many people are aware that remodeling a kitchen with new cabinets can cost a small fortune, often too much money to afford. Having your cabinets refaced by Reface It! inc. costs less than half the cost of installing all new cabinets with the same quality wood and door styles. Another major reason to reface is the investment return when you sell your house. According to Remodeling Magazine’s 2008-09 cost vs. value report, a “minor kitchen remodel” including refacing is the #1 interior project for recouping costs at home resale. It beats a major kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, basement remodel, and window replacements! 2) Did you realize that we can reface your kitchen cabinets in less than ½ the time it takes to replace them with all new cabinets? When remodeling from scratch, the contractor says the job will be completed in two weeks, yet it somehow ends up being more like four weeks… ouch!

The “Seven Reasons” To Reface Your Kitchen…

Did you know that most people actually don’t need to replace their kitchen cabinets, yet most kitchen remodeling companies tell them they do?

3) You can still use your kitchen… While the work is in progress, the kitchen can still be used by you. Everything can remain in the cabinets when refacing, therefore leaving you with a working kitchen. 4) Less mess / helping the environment… As compared to changing the cabinets altogether, refacing is much less mess, inconvenience, and disruption. We are only replacing the doors and drawer fronts, and adding a new layer of wood over your existing cabinet boxes. Most all of the cutting is done outside or in the garage, so the dust is kept out of the kitchen. You are also helping the environment by reusing the existing cabinet boxes, and not adding them to the 230 million tons of trash… about 4.6 pounds per person, per day, in United States. Our most promising alternatives are waste reduction and recycling… refacing does both!

5) We come to you; no shopping headaches… Many people don’t have the time, patience, or feel overwhelmed when shopping for new cabinets. Picking a design layout, paying extra for custom cabinets because of size restrictions in your kitchen, getting plumbers, electricians, contractors, etc., all add to the stress and inconvenience of remodeling from scratch.

• Reface It! inc. comes to your house with sample doors, woods, color selections, photos… you don’t need to go out shopping!

• We can take care of any and all work needed to complete your kitchen. • Leave it to us to give your kitchen a whole new look without the

inconveniences and giant commitments of getting all new cabinets… all in a week or less!

6) When you use Reface It! inc. to reface your kitchen cabinets, you are getting all “Select” woods. This means that the doors, drawer fronts, trims, and plywoods are all of the highest grade. There is no sapwood, knots, dark streaks, and major color variations. Many of the “big box” stores that advertise their

kitchen cabinets fail to mention that having select wood is an extra cost… much extra!

Also, Reface It! inc. uses only ¼” select grade, prefinished plywoods on the cabinet box sides and front edges, as opposed to veneers. Most refacing companies use veneer, yet we

have found that it often cracks or lifts over the years. High grade plywoods do not have these problems. So, a refacing job done by Reface It! inc. not only looks outstanding, but will last for as long as you own your kitchen.

7) When refacing, you do not have to change your countertops,

backsplash, or floor (unless you want to). When installing new cabinets, everything else has to get replaced as well. Sometimes when installing new cabinets, the floor can be salvaged, as long as the new cabinets cover the floor completely where the old cabinets existed… but that’s rare. Many of our past customers already had beautiful Granite countertops or tilework, so refacing worked out perfect for them.
