The Specht Varia Plus as floor management system
The Specht Varia Plus System is the result of our decade-long experience. Specht has been producing systems for poultry farming since 1961.In our Specht Varia Plus System we combi-ned the advantages of different installation types:
ü Manure belt removal system with conic drive rollers.
ü Minimal wear and tear of the belts.ü Egg collection with lifter system.ü Egg belts move automatically
forward.ü Experience with manure drying
systems.ü Heat recovery for manure drying and
minimal environmental pollution.ü Astro-Turf mats.
The Varia Plus System offers laying hens all the advantages of natural movement and en-courages their social behavior.
The modular element system allows the poultry farmers an efficient use of the poultry house.
The well-arranged allocation enables an opti-mum animal control.

é Optimum stocking density possible because of the use of floor surface and usable areas on several levels.
é Additional areas above the nest and the approach sheet, without disturbing the overview.
é Wide corridors for animal and staff; good accessibility during checking the birds.

é Water, water, feed, rest area and nest units are avai-lable in all levels of the system.
é Short distances to the nest as nests have been inte- grated in every tier and thus the highest nest accep-tance and little mislaid eggs.
é As the nests are placed at the outer sides, they can be cleaned and inspected easily.
é Tilting floors close the nests automatically.
é Foldable approach rods enable the birds to move easily within the system and from the floor to the system.
é At the same time the farmer uses the perches for inspection purposes.
é Additional perches in the installation
é The manure belts beneath the system are designed not too wide.
é Hereby the manure belts run trouble-free and mini-mum wear is ensured.
é The wide egg belts ensure sufficient place for the eggs.
é Integrated air ducts are possible, so that a manure drying system can ensure lower ammonia contamina-tion of the air.
