DANCE OFF!The 7th grade showed off their moves in a remix of sev-eral songs.

October 2nd, 2014, Fort Thomas High School had

their lip sync.

The lip sync is a contest throughout the high school and junior high. It has a group of students from each class and they compete against each oth-er and the song or songs they

chose have to be approved by the cheer coaches. When they compete they have to dance or perform and lip sing to the songs.

The seventh graders played multiple songs. The students that performed in the lip sync in that grade were Latrell, Diana, and Logan. At first Di-ana was the only one dancing because Latrell looked like he

was shy so Logan was talking to him then a couple of songs into their performance all three finally started to dance.

The eighth grade performed to the song We Will Rock You by Queen. The students that were in the lip sync were Shania, Hanna, Bridie, Chasity, and Corwin. The students all came out and made the beat to the song and then they began to

SPIRITDeJuan Quade shows of his spirit as he waves the spirit flag.

We will be wiring about our viewing of the homecoming

parade and how it represents the theme of 2014 Homecom-ing.

First as we start on how the parade went, it was a success because everyone had school spirit and the crowd was just full of energy.

We will first talk about the 7th Grade float, it was very good knowing they had a lot of spirit in their float and this was their very first homecom-ing and I think they had a blast with their homecoming and will enjoying for the rest of their school years.7th Grade float was based on "Fear The Fort" and had a field goal and cheerleaders and athletes and their float meant to keep away

from the fort or we will beat you down.

Next will be 8th Grade Float which they were based on making a sign saying Go For The Gold and had a picture of a wildcat inside a cage and a quote on bottom saying "Tame The Cats". They had a lot of school spirit but not as much excitement.

GAME FACEStudents paint their faces as they get ready for the homecoming parade.

Freshman Float is with a competition based upon only 3 champions and the apaches made it to the gold.Their float was based on making it to the gold and also the theme of homecoming , they had a lot of spirit and was very involved in this parade.

Sophomores was very out-standing Float they repent-ing the theme and had many colors around the float. They had a cheerleader, Volleyball player and a Football play-er also. They had their class cheer for them on when they

were showing their hard work. Also they had this big rainbow where at the end there was this big pot of gold and the Olym-pics colors, they were very outgoing.

Now the Juniors had some pride in the game and for their loss for a classmate Lybert Bond who also played football they represented him and also the fight by Duncan Wildcats. They had a creative float and they also represented what year they are going to gradu-ate.

The Seniors float was a little too plain but other then that it had everything to do with homecoming and their theme as very good and outgoing and they were very proud to show they had school spirit for their last homecoming on their high school years. The whole parade was a huge success and everyone of the classes did and excellent job with their floats and how much spirit the Fort Thomas Apaches have.

On Friday, Octo-ber 3, was the final day of Fort

Thomas High School's homecoming.

That morning every student went into the junior high computer lab to vote for their homecoming king and queen. The candidates for king was Jordan Kitcheyan, Addison

Fowler, and Ronald Nosie, queen candidates were Nicole Ganilla, Alexis Benally, and Tracey Robertson.

Later that night, during half-time of the football game, these six students stood in the field anxiously waiting to hear who won the title of Home-coming King and Queen. The announcer mistakenly called the winner of queen title to Addison Fowler, once realiz-

ing his mistake he corrected that Adison was the Home-coming King. Tracey Rob-ertson was then announced as the Homecoming Queen. Cheerleaders then dress the king and queen in their crowns and capes.

Tracey and Addison got into Mr. Eddie Bowman's Ford Mustang, taking a victory lap around the football field.
