There’s something charming embedded in the intricate design of this universe which keeps corresponding with us, imbuing in us a sense of wonder, making us collect thoughts both abandoned and celebrated, making us tell stories.

The eras of heart and soul are what get represented in our drawn motives or in the songs we sing. A deeper connection permeates all beings in this shared experience of life. To look for hope in desolate dreams, an understanding to heal ourself – that is what I seek when I create.

My work in it’s simplest intentions is a testament to the mystery of life, a journey to the very nucleus of imagination.

Tathagata

Garuda: Why do you try so hard Oh Tathagata, the Gardner of this forest to save it from dying. Will your efforts ever achieve what you intend ?

Sage : Great effort often collapses under the weight of it’s own aspiration. One never achieves what one sets out for.The aim keeps moving further away like a mirage...let it.In that earnest effort to reach ones highest potential one will still be left with a residual quality of that pursuit. The rest will become the personal experience of the beautiful magnanimity of the Universe.Stirring you deep inside, with no words recording it, no sounds invading it, no color, nothing would determine its presence but your gratitude.I might not save the forest completely...but I’ll keep trying...even after I’m thus gone...I’m Thatagata. With that the tathagata poured water for the birds and became a tree...a home.

Who will teach me to bring the rain...?

It’s Elephant Day today, did you know an Elephant can hear a rain drop drumming inside a cloud from far distances ? They share a language with nature of which we know very little.

They love to eat and create manure for the forests all day long, from monkeys to microbial families thrive because of their presence in the forests. 27,000 Elephants remain in India, oppose to a million a decade ago, out of which 2,500 are captive, bound to chains or living in harsh domesticated conditions. It’s truly tragic that we continue to undermine their actual significance in the natural world and its connection to ours.

They live in a matriarchal setup and it works wonders, something we can bring into our society too. They have a profound sense of premonition and intuition, even about their own deaths. I’ve never witnessed a more powerful being who’s so forgiving.

In art we’ve seen them mostly been ridden by some king or the other, it’s mostly because they were used in wars. These depictions have conditioned our minds, we never question these things, and an elephant ride is a thrill we don’t hesitate to seek, without knowing that elephants foot-pads are not built to walk concrete roads.

There’s so much more, they should be depicted free, in their actual majestic self. The Earth rests on four cardinal elephants. Indra, rain god was saved by Airavata, Ganesha was given the head of an elephant, he wrote the longest story because an elephant can hear subtle sounds.

Maybe they can hear the comets approaching Earth or the nuclear fission in the sun, or far away falling stars. Today let’s take a moment to Thank the Elephant, the children of the Earth.

Be Love.

Goodbye 2020 you were a teacher. The only way, if there’s is, is to believe that only through love & kindness and letting go of our ways of impunity what is damaged can be healed back.

In the next year, things will not go back to what they were so soon, there’s lot many people who can use a helping hand, a patient ear, some gesture to lift their financial situation, a meal or a touch of love.

Let our hearts be always open...

Sometimes what may look random is just another nudge into the direction the universe wants us to walk in or understand. What looks obscure in the beginning is just a test of belief, that it’s all going to figure itself out in the end. It’ll be messy though in most parts but there’ll be music all across, to the point our hearts are open.

“Solitude is, past and present as manure sprinkled over the sapling of Now.” - Once a man who’s Dhyana was alluring knew how to make forests from one’s solitude. - Let go of the chains of your own ambitions, expectations that curb the flow of something true, whatever that might be, buried underneath your opinions. That’s the true seed, which brings the great flow into the material, sow that in your heart.

The Great CrossingWould you cross the ocean for your love ?

To find the one who’s light holds a dying tree in the courtyard of maladies ?

Would you let the stones defy their nature ?

raise them to be afloat over these titanic waves ?

Will you disturb the entire ocean and force it’s beings to comply to a personal desire ?

A voice brimmed from the man, who’s face was calm, washed in a blue hue.

It was hard to tell if it was the ocean which gave him the blue glimmer or was it him, which made the ocean looked blue.

Song of the Wind

Mother, how do I get Inspired ? Anjana, the most kind one and Hanuman’s Mother gently smiled and spoke. Her voice shimmered like the dappled light coursing through the trees in his mind.

“My Son...

Inspiration is the state of not being distracted.

It is not the seed but the fruits of your focus.

It is to “See” really deeply into things, to seek and understand the hidden oneness.

An “Intersection” of paths called determination, love, empathy and freedom.

So we can dissolve the fences and look beyond our biases.

Which leads to the eternal sea from where this life force was taken and given to you.

Remember, to open one’s heart is to be “Inspired”

To sense, through the trees, the great synchronicity.

The little sapling right beside Hanuman moved upwards and became part of his locks.

Catching the fallen leaves into the meditative orbits and merging them back into the branches which grew out of his body.

With that Anjaneya opened his eyes, tears welling up, watering the roots which were cracking through the stones. Like Light was oozing out of his being.

He became the tree, it’s roots and leaves and the branches. Enveloped in that oneness, he became the song of the wind.

UnManifest From nothing to something, Creation, the sound, births material things.

Breath moves through this material reality. So subtle that the water cannot wet it and the sun cannot burn it.

From nothing to something, our lives live out and then one day, the knocking of time is felt a little too loudly in the bones.

All which is here, shall be gone.

We spent our lives chasing, collecting, stacking up milestone to achieve. All well till we learn to move through them with one lesson.

That all this will go back to nothing, smudged back into the stardust.

Creation shall dissipate in an eternal silence.

From where it has borrowed its beginnings.

There it must give it back.

Cycles

I grow older, I’ve now learnt to see the world through my mind’s eye, i’m more in love with the feeling of oneness and not with what I create anymore, although that’s how I know that everything is one big breath.

I become frail, I see my body dilapidated working on the last few details. Cycles of life are drawn and poured back into this photonic carnival.

It’s not just a sketch, it’s a silent tune in time, for no one but for the dream and for the night and for what the eyes yearn to see but don’t find easily.

I die, it’s done, there’s just emptiness.

Then again the page of the sketchbook is turned like another “Manavantra” another Epoch and another creation is born and a desire and the seeker, and the dance, too is born again, as a child I’m born too, ever playful...another cycle begins of life and death.

Onam

King Bali plunged into the ocean and sat there as it had become black with rampant radiation.

The ocean and the earth needed saving from all the nuclear weapons the gods had been using on Bali’s people.

Whatever it would take to rejuvenate the ocean he shall find it today, he was stubborn.

He sat deep inside the ocean in dhyana, when a flash occurred in his mind’s eye.

He saw a sage with long ear lobs, oblong head and celestial marks, one who could pass through worlds, an Avatar.
