Parish Mission Statement
We, the community of St. John Neumann, desire to guide all souls toward God. This we accomplish by evangelizing through our ministries. Our liturgical celebrations center around the Eucharist.
Our Vision We seek to become a spiritual home where God’s love for us and our love for Him abounds freely and within an atmos-phere of brotherhood and good will.

Baptisms Parents need an interview with Fr. Pedroza. Interviews are the 3rd Tues-days of each month. Baptism Prepara-tion classes are on the 4th Thursdays of each month with Deacon Gerardo Morales. Please stop by the parish of-fice. for additional information needed prior to registering for the class or for an appointment with Father.
Weddings Arrangements need to be made with the pastor 6 months in advance.

Parents, please be sensitive to the other parishioners. If your baby or child be-comes restless, is speaking loudly or is noisy during the Mass...please take them outside or to the hallway by the parish office.

FAITH FORMATION NEWS
Photographs for First Holy Communion
For those parents that ordered photos of their children and youth, the photographer will call you or text you when the photos are ready.
Summer Mass attendance
Students that are returning for the second year of Forma-tion, please pick up a summer Mass attendance record.
Confirmation Practice, Confessions and photos
The second year Confirmation classes are still in session. Please check with Ms. Turner to see that you have all re-quired documents submitted. The Confirmation practice for students and their sponsors is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30 at 7 p.m. Confessions for the students and their sponsors are Saturday, May 26 at 4:30 p.m. If you plan to order photos please make sure to fill out the photo form and turn it in with the money to Ms. Turner or Miss Rodriguez.

Alumnos que regresan a clase para el segundo año de for-mación, por favor recojan un folleto de asistencia a Misa para el verano.
Practica de Confirmación, confesiones y fotos
Las clases del segundo año de Confirmación aun continúan por favor cheque con la Sra. Turner par saber si tiene todos sus documentos en orden. La practica de Confirmación es el miércoles, 30 de mayo a las 7 p.m. Se requiere la presencia del alumno y del padrino. Las confesiones para los alumnos y padrinos son el 26 de mayo a las 4:30 p.m.
Si planea ordenar fotos para la Confirmación por favor lle-ne una orden y entréguela a su catequista o a la Srita. Rodri-guez.

ST. JOHN NEUMANN & COMMUNITY EVENTS
MEN’S ACTS RETREAT V
We would like to invite you to join us for a life-changing weekend. This experience will take
place June 14th-17th, 2018 at the Holy Spirit Retreat Center in Laredo, Tx. The retreat’s goals are to allow an opportunity for men to focus on their faith and its appli-cation during their daily lives, to build purpose in their prayer life, to increase their presence at the liturgy and to cultivate friendship among members of the church community. Men must be 21 years of age or older to attend this retreat. Applications are available at the entry of the church and bulletin board near the parish office. ANNUAL BLUE MASS - TUESDAY,
MAY 15th
The Diocese of Laredo will be celebrating the 17th Annual Blue Mass at San Agustin Cathedral, Tues, May 15th at 12:00 p.m.
The Annual Blue Mass has now become a tradition within the Diocese of Laredo. This anual event honors our brothers and sisters in law enforcement who admirably fulfill their duty to serve and protect our community.
Everyone is invited !
NOCTURNAL ADORATION
Our Nocturnal Adoration vigil for May will
take place the third Saturday/Sunday– May
19 & 20th. All parishioners are invited to
join in worship before the Blessed Sacrament.
Our Nocturnal Adoration reunion begins at 8:00 P.M.
Saturday, with Mass at 9:00 PM, and concludes with
praying of the Rosary of Our Blessed Virgin Mary, at
4:00 A.M. Sunday, May 20, 2018.
Nocturnal Adoration is open to everyone. Invite a
friend, family member, co-worker, or neighbor. We
look forward to seeing new worshippers join us in
prayer before the exposed Holy Eucharist.
We are happy to announce the return of the
Choice Wine program. Classes begin on Mon-
day, July 9th at 6:30 p.m. - see next week’s bulletin!
