(Acts 1:9) To make this craft you will need: fiberfill (a large handful or two) fold-and-close sandwich bag picture of Jesus ascending stapler/staples hot glue scissors string twist-tie light - LED tea light, mini LED flash light, a glow-stick or other small (non-hot) light 1. Spread out the cotton. 2. Open the sandwich bag and start stapling the cotton onto the bag. Staple cotton all around the bag. 3. You should cover the entire bag with cotton, fluffing the cotton along the way. Be sure the bag still has a pocket and an ability to tie the top. 4. Add your light. 5. Use the twist-tie to close the top. 6. (Be sure to keep this accessible so you can turn the light on and off) 7. Cut out the Jesus image. 8. Add hot glue to the back of the image. 9. Stick it onto the cloud/cotton. 10. Use the twist-tie as a hook to attach the string to hang it up. The project is now complete! Enjoy!

Snack and Cupcake Toppers Add flare to any snack on Easter or the Feast of the Ascension! Just print out the small images of Jesus, cut them out, and tape the top half of a toothpick to the back of the image. It's that simple to make a fun treat for the special day!

You will need:

• printable images - stock paper is best but not required

• toothpicks

• scissors

• tape

• the snack - cupcakes, cookies, brownies, cake slice, muffins, pancakes, toast, a sandwich, cheese cubes, etc... just use your imagination!

Stand-Up Jesus Print the Jesus image(s) onto stock paper.

Resurrection Cookie Display! Make a batch of No-Bake Cookies and stacked them in a cave

shape. Make one really big cookie for the rock that covered

the opening to the tomb. Used green colored coconut* to

decorate around the tomb. Then add a small Jesus statue

or Stand-Up Jesus -see previous page.

NOTE: This display idea would work well with cake or brownies, too!!

*Create Green Coconut:

Put about a cup of shredded coconut into a closable container. Add a few drops of green food

coloring. Close the container and shake until the coconut is evenly green colored.

Now it’s ready to use!

No Bake Chocolate Cookies Recipe

� 4 c. sugar

� 6 Tbsp. cocoa powder

� 1 c. milk

� 2 sticks of butter

� 1 c. peanut butter

� 2 tsp. vanilla

� 7 c. oats (Rolled or Quick)

Combine sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter in saucepan. While

stirring, bring it to a boil for 2 minutes; remove from heat.

Add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until peanut butter is

melted in. Add the oats. Stir until well mixed. Use tablespoon

to drop onto wax paper and allow to cool. (About 3 hours)

Makes 3-4 dozen cookies.
