Lao Tzu once said, “ The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”. We have been travelling unseen paths steadily over the years. We do admit that we haven't achieved all we have dreamed of, but that doesn't deter our aspiration. While we remember the laurels and the glo-ries of the past, we would like to keep journeying ahead and achieve suc-cess constantly
In this issue we would like to highlight our inspiring stories, pro-grammes that captured the eyes of many, stories that bear witness to the greatness of the school, victorious moments that laid bare to the commit-ment of the staff and students. Please take time to read the newsletter with your children as they contain important events and details of school programs, most importantly acknowledgement of the students’ fabulous achievements and laurels. We do hope that through this issue we have been able to leave a lasting
Imprint for the future.

"Sow the seeds of hard work, determination and endurance and reap the
rewards of achievement, success and self-fulfillment."
Well, as I was pondering over how to begin my acknowledgement I happened to recall an incident this
evening when I was playing in the playground . I felt something pricking my leg. Behold, it was a group of
ants! At first a surge of irritation flowed through my veins , but then I saw something which was very rare
amongst people which is the will power to show determination and passion to achieve success in our chosen
path. This was deftly shown by those tiny ants. They worked day in and day out to gather food with a great
show of teamwork, collaboration, hard work, determination and many more.
Similarly, the quote above shows that wherever there is hard work and the will to do the work, there we
can see the fruits of our sweat a plenty . Our school through sheer hard work and determination has
achieved holistic goals through relentless teamwork. .
It is our humble privilege to record those names that helped us in the completion of the ALS Newsletter.
ALSIANS is to be circulated electronically for the year 2018-2019.
We thank our Principal Mrs. Uma Srinivasan for supporting us in all our endeavors.
We thank all the teaching, non-teaching, supporting staff and students who helped us complete the News-
letter. Without their continued efforts, cooperation and support, we would have not been able to bring the
“ALSIANS” to a successful completion.
