Concert Band Festival Season is Here! May marks the beginning of CONCERT BAND FESTIVAL season. All 3 concert bands will be travelling to Red Deer to participate in the Alberta Band Association Festival of Bands held at Red Deer College. This festival experience is unique as students will be working with wind band conductors from around the world! Students will also take part in a “testing” session where they will be assessed on either their fundamental (grade 7) or sight reading skills (grade 8/9.) Wednesday May 9 - Concert Band 9 Thursday, May 10 - Concert Band 8 Friday, May 11 - Concert Band 9

All students are expected to stay for the duration of the concert, and are to help with tear down afterward. **A friendly reminder that all concerts and festivals are mandatory, and are for marks!
