Bad Fear, Good News… Global in Scope It is a good Christmas lesson that fear is bad. The angel repeated twice, “Do not be afraid!” once to Mary, then (in the Scripture above) to the shepherds. Actually, it is the most recorded command given by our Lord in the New Testament. Why is fear bad? It replaces faith in God. The angel said, “I have good news for you”, and in a word the good news is that Jesus is here! This good news spans time and is true to us today. Jesus is here! God is with us! This good news also spans the globe. This is where you and I are woven into this story. You send me and Kim to the nations to show them how to replace their fears with faith in God, and how to embrace the good news that Jesus is here! Oh, may this Christmas story ring loud and clear, not just in Dec. but every day, all year long. Our Mission… …Our Strategy Our mission is to communicate the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to every young person in Honduras. With the assignment from YFC’s Honduras national director, Mauricio Erazo, to start a YFC chapter in the capitol city of Tegucigalpa… we now have an eight year history in Honduras. Our strategy has led us to work with kids through four different venues: youth prison, the city-dump, the Tolupan tribe, and our foster kids. Raising up volunteers and staff along the way is securing God’s work here into the future. Importance Of Year-End Giving All of the youth in the four ministry projects freely receive ministry. This is true because you support this mission work in two ways: you support us the missionaries, and you financially support the ministry projects. That’s why there are two accounts to which you can designate your gifts (refer to gift portion below). As with every “faith based” non-profit organization, November and December determine the financial outlook of the year. Consider last fiscal year, we only received 17% of our annual gifts in December. It needed to be 25%. It stands to reason then that the same year we spent nearly five months with a negative balance. Please give big this December to keep us strong during the low-giving months ahead. That which came free to us, may we strive to pass along freely to others. Rick, Kim & Family… Wishing You A Very Merry and Christ-Centered Christmas

Kroger's donation will go directly to support Rick & Kim Beck's YFC missionary account. Bad Fear, Good News… Global in Scope

It is a good Christmas lesson that fear is bad.

Our Mission… …Our Strategy

Our mission is to communicate the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to every young person in Honduras.

Importance Of Year-End Giving

All of the youth in the four ministry projects freely receive ministry.
