Major Online Furniture RetailerThis retailer specialized in manufacturing theme furniture. They had a large library of furniture themes ranging from Victorian, French and western to Modern, Sci-Fi and even themes like Harry Potter. They had over 35,000 on offer, and wanted a calculator to provide the price based on dimensions, provided by the customer.

Montavo wanted to build an advertising analytics platform that seeks to enhance the efficiency with which national and local retailers and brand manufacturers measure the effectiveness of their online advertising spend.

This platform needed to scale to handle over 250,000 transactions per minute at peak. Ramp chose to build this web and mobile solution using MS technologies hosted on the Azure cloud with a combination of NoSQL database and HADOOP to handle the large volume of web logs.

The backbone of the architecture, the Windows Azure Service Bus provides a hosted and secure infrastructure for common communication, large-scale event distribution, and service publishing that allows multiple data feeds from retailers and advertisers to be processed and matched.
