    This bibliography attempts to present publications on the history of the Cold War published

    after 1989, the beginning of the „archival revolution” in the former Soviet bloc countries.

    While this second and updated edition is still not complete, it contains an extensive number

    of books, articles and book chapters on the topic; at 1151 pages in length so far, it is the

    most extensive such bibliography.

    If you are a Cold War history scholar in any country and would like us to incude your

    publications on the Cold War (published after 1989) in the next edition, we will gladly do so.

    Please send us a list of your works in which books and articles/book chapters are separated,

    following the format of our bibliography. The titles of non-English language entries should be
