Once there was a little ghost, you could say, more bitter than most.

He was constantly told by men,

how he should try to be more zen.

Our little ghost did even try

but nothing did ever fly.

Page 6: The Bitter Little Ghost

Yoga and meditation and kale,it was all to no fucking avail.

And so the comment “dude, chill”,continued to make him wanna kill.

He wasn’t even quite sure,

what made him be such a boor.

All he knew was that most things

vibrated his nerves like pings.

People asking him “what’s up?”

made him shout “oh God, shut up!”

When the phone rang, rang and rang,

he left the receiver hang hang hang….

Our dear ghost avoided people,

for irritation by them left him feeling like a cripple.

But being alone made him feel boredso he went around, haunted, and roared.

The only joy he ever felt in death

was from robbing the living of their breath.

He hid behind shower curtains, acted creepy, like a film of Tim Burton’s.

The only time he felt a tiny bit of life,

was when people screamed like a bloody fife.

And so the cycle went round while the dismay hit no bound.

Until one windy February fifth, something reminded him of his pith.

On this specially cold winter day,

his friends reminded him of life’s ray.

They told him that he was loved;

and thus the misery was shoved.

They spoke the following words, shouted them like sharp, big swords.

Happy Birthday Dear Louis,

Lest your spirits be gooey!

It matters not if you’re sadwhen you have friends this fad!

It’s okay if there is no sex, boys can suck bad, like a hex!

And if the future is your fear, never worry, for we are here!

Love your transparent ghostly self, and put all the doubts on the shelf!

Happy Birthday Dear Louis,

Lest your spirits be gooey!

Mr. Bélec,

As per our earlier Skype conversation, I recall you saying you would pay for this book to be written. As such, you may make your cheques payable to PANIZ MOAYERI, (sadly) current resident of Richmond Hill, ON. You may pay in monthly payments, however, please be advises that an interest of 10% will be added to the total cost for each month of delay in delivering the full fee starting February 5, 2015. To discuss the terms and conditions

of this book signing further please contact your best friend and former (disastrous) studio partner at your earliest convenience. You know how to get a hold of her. She also asks of you to not haunt her in any shape or form upon

your passing for -as she has mentioned previously- you would make a terrible ghost.

Good day, Sir.
