Bar Servery

The bar servery will be refurbished in line with the pub’s modern country charm. Works will include:

• Removing the end bar section to create a greater sense of space and improve the flow of service.

• Cladding the bar front in attractive timber panelling.

• Stripping and re-polishing the bar top.

• Installing a new feature upper back bar fitting.

• Enhancing the existing back fitting with patch repairs where necessary.

• Laying new safety Altro flooring.

Bar Area

The bar area will be completely refurbished and redecorated with a mix of traditional and trendy finishes, establishing an attractive feel throughout. This will create a fantastic space for local customers to enjoy casual drinking and dining with friends and family. Works will include:

• Redecorating the entire area, introducing feature wall panelling and wall coverings in dark heritage colours.

• Installing new light fittings adding atmosphere.

• Adding an eclectic mix of seating, including warm leather armchairs and casual timber stools.

• Dotting cushions with faux animal print fabrics to soften the space.

• Enhancing the existing fireplace with rustic timber beams.

• Maintaining the privacy of the front bar area, giving it the potential to become a function room for private events.

• Finishing the area with tasteful bric-a-brac, including leather strap shelving, hanging chopping boards and potted plants.

Dining Area

• Adding drapes to soften the space.

• Adding metal agricultural details and quirky bric-a-brac throughout.

• Zoning the area with drapes and subtle decorational changes to create a private dining area at the rear of the pub.

Kitchen

The kitchen will be refurbished and restructured to suit the improved menu and increased covers. Works will include:

• Cleaning, repairing and servicing all existing equipment.

• Providing new equipment and appliances where necessary.

• Laying new safety flooring.

• Industrially cleaning the cold room.

• Redecorating the entire area.

Toilets

The ladies, gents and accessible toilets will be retained and refurbished, decorated with accents that reflect the premium feel of the pub. Works will include:

• Retaining and industrially cleaning the wall tiles and floors.

• Adding attractive sign-writing throughout.

• Repairing and replacing the existing sanitaryware where necessary.

• Repairing the ceiling and ironmongery.

• Regrouting the area.

• Adding new mirrors and bric-a-brac to enhance the atmosphere.

Cellar

The existing cellar is to be retained, a cellar cooling inspection and service will be carried out and a SmartDispense System installed to reduce waste and improve quality.

Outside Area

The outdoor terrace will be improved to create an attractive area where customers can enjoy drinks during the warmers months and relax in the beautiful surroundings. Works will include:

• Refurbishing and enhancing the existing patio and timber structure.

• Renewing the polycarbonate roof panels on the pergola.

• Jet-washing and repointing all paving.

• Extending the terrace and gazebo to the left of the main entrance, increasing covers and kerb appeal.

• Enhancing the existing perimeter dwarf wall.

• Adding new planting to soften the space.
