The founding of Cardigan Mountain School in 1945 was a day that established a powerful legacy that would change the lives of every CMS student. For over fifty years, Cardigan has produced quality students, lasting relationsWps and memories. Graduates leave Cardigan with a sense of commitment and a desire to contribute to the community. THE PANNACI MEMORIAL AWARDThis award is to be given annually by the Class of 1959, as a memorial to Karl J. Pannaci, to that member of the senior class who, in the eyes of his fellow students, has achieved and best attained ideals of honesty, integrity, leadership and general social and spiritual adjustment.
FACULTY PRIZEIn his two years at Cardigan, this student has displayed maturity and sensitivity beyond his years. He has been a trustworthy and dedicated floor leader who consistently performed above and beyond the responsibilities required by his leadership position. Academically, he is enthusiastic, motivated, and brings a positive sense of humor to the classroom. He was recognized as a leader by his peers who elected him as the captain of both the hockey and lacrosse teams.
