Y6 Secondary Transfer for September 2020 If your child is currently in Y5 they will be transferring to Secondary School in September 2020 so you will need to apply by 31st October 2019. Booking is available up to 18th October. Cut off date for booking is Monday 15th July at 9am. Go to your child’s profile> click on Make Meal Bookings> Next to Week Commencing, select 2nd September from the drop down menu. If you have more than one child, return to Home before booking the next. Summer/ Autumn Menu here. Y6 Leavers' Tea Party The Year 6 pupils and staff team would like to invite all Year 6 Parents/Carers to a celebration Leavers’ Tea Party in The New Hall from 12.30pm – 1.30pm on Friday 19th July 2019. Please make your way to The New Hall after the 11.00am Leavers’ Service. We look forward to seeing you all there. Y4 Egyptian Day Y4 had Portals From The Past visit last week to give workshops on the Egyptians. Y4 have delved into Egyptian artefacts, measuring, dancing and all took part in a procession. Newsletters are available on the News page of our website You can view The Blue School Calendar here Y3,4,5&6 Music Tuition From September 2019 we will be offering music tuition to Y3,4,5&6. Drumming, guitar, violin, brass and piano tuition is available through Hounslow Music Service. Booking is available from 12pm today through ParentPay. Prices are £70-£100 per term depending on instrument and numbers in group. For more information on HMS see their brochure here. After School Clubs After School Clubs have now finished. Next terms availability will be launched shortly. End of Term Reports Your child's end of term report was issued on Wed 10th July. KS1 and KS2 reports will be issued through Arbor and Early Years will be issued through Tapestry. We have sent home a paper receipt for you to complete as confirmation you have received it. If you have any issues with either account please notify the school office asap. The Blue School PA Following the success of our last Happy school bag collection, back in April when we raised £332 for the PA, we are really pleased to tell you that we have organised a second collection for September. The fifteen dancers were from Years 1 - 6 and performed two dance numbers based on the theme of the sea. Application for Leave of Absence Reminder – if you wish to take your child out of school during term time you must complete a Leave of Absence form located on the Parental Forms page of the Parents’ section of the school website.All absences must be applied for including; medical and dental (please supply appointment confirmation), external school visits, external school exams or other (e.g. Funeral, wedding).There is no entitlement to leave in term time and Parents/Carers should not expect leave of absence to be granted as of right. Approval is discretionary and only in exceptional circumstances. It is possible in extreme circumstances that your child could be removed from the school roll and you would need to reapply for a place on your return.
