UPCOMING TRAININGS

Seasoned Usher Trainings:

Several advanced usher trainings will be conducted over the summer. They are in depth 4.5 hour classes conducted by the house managers that covers not only seating, but safety measures, customer service and much more. Once any volunteer completes this training, they will be eligible to receive scheduling earlier for the 2016-2017 season. Everyone is eligible for this training, however, due to limited space, priority will be given to ushers who are seeking to become an advanced/seasoned usher. Please see the dates and times below.

Monday August 8, 2016 6p—10p

Wednesday September 7, 2015 6p—10p

In order to reserve your spot, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with

“Seasoned Usher Training” in the subject line.

Emergency Evacuation Drills: August 20th 10a—2p

Campus wide fire and emergency evacuation drills will be conducted on

August 20th from 10AM – 2PM. Lunch will be provided and you will receive

4 hours for your time. We need as many volunteers as possible to be

AUDIENCE MEMBERS to help the drill be realistic in nature. Please come

in casual clothing, there is no dress code for this event. Family members,

including children, are welcome to attend.

Please email [email protected] to sign up.

Please also include how many people will be accompanying you.

ArtsLaunch 2016 Tour Guide: August 30, 2016 2p—3:30p

Due to the anticipated volume of guests who will be taking the tour during Art-

sLaunch, we are trying to beef up our team. The tours on that day will be much

shorter in nature. We will be just covering a lot of basics to move the crowds

through. We will need as many hands as we can get for this! If you are interested

in giving an abridged tour, or assisting a docent (tour guide) during an Artslaunch

tour, please email

[email protected] to rsvp your spot

with Artslaunch Tour Training in the subject.
