The weather could not have been more picture perfect for an even more perfect tour through The Tomoka Loop in Or- mond Beach. Craig Colby did an awe- some job of putting together a scenic tour through one of Volusia’s most beautiful and historical routes. There were 14 cars, 27 people and 5 Marques in attendance. Unfortunately my LBC did not make it out of the driveway that day but we man- age to make the lunch at The Black Sheep Pub and Eating House. The food was delicious and we had two new guests Pat and Bonnie Mulcare of Palm Coast with their 1971 MGB roadster who learned of the tour on our club’s website. We really appreciate all the hard work and time Craig donated putting together this fun event. Like I mentioned already my MGA did not make it due to a leaking radiator. I can’t complain for it has given me 20 + years of good service, I’m just glad that I caught it early. The Loop would have been the debut of my new/old 8D 1962 license tag. I only had to wait 10 days for the tag to be authorized and returned by Tallahassee... not bad for govern- ment. I can only hope I can have my radiator back and my car on the road for the car shows that are coming up in April. April 12th is our car show at the Riviera in Ormond Beach. April 26th is the Lake Helen Car Show. We hope you can make one if not both great shows. Next month I will have a report on Brass Ra- diator repair shops – Another disappearing auto business. The weather could not have been more picture perfect for an even more perfect tour through The Tomoka Loop in Or-mond Beach. Craig Colby did an awe-

some job of putting together a scenic tour through one of Volusia’s most beautiful and historical routes. There were 14 cars, 27 people and 5 Marques in attendance. Unfortunately my LBC did not make it out of the driveway that day but we man-

age to make the lunch at The Black Sheep Pub and Eating House. The food was delicious and we had two new guests Pat and Bonnie Mulcare of Palm Coast with their 1971 MGB roadster who learned of the tour on our club’s website.

We really appreciate all the hard work and time Craig donated putting together

this fun event.

Like I mentioned already my MGA did

not make it due to a leaking radiator. I can’t complain for it has given me 20 + years of good service, I’m just glad that I caught it early. The Loop would have been the debut of

my new/old 8D 1962 license tag. I only had to wait 10 days for the tag to be authorized and returned by Tallahassee... not bad for govern-ment. I can only hope I can have my radiator back and my car on the road for the car shows that are coming up in April. April 12th is our

car show at the Riviera in Ormond Beach. April 26th is the Lake Helen Car Show. We hope you can make one if not both great

shows.

Next month I will have a report on Brass Ra-

diator repair shops – Another disappearing

auto business.

A great day for a cruise as 14 British cars lined up at Fortunato Park in Ormond Beach. Lead by our intrepid

British Cruse guide Craig, the group was off to cruise the

Tomoka Loop and on the Black Sheep Pub for a late

lunch. Along the way the battle between our LBCs and

modern fuel raised its ugly head. Two cars had to drop out and limp their way home. The drawing for the lunch

tab was won by Bonnie Mulcare and the door prize was

won by Kathy Kufeldt. After lunch all bid their goodbyes

and headed home, another great British Cruise.

Checking out the cars.

On the road.
