For all who enter; we at St. Peter are a community who believe Jesus Christ is the center

New Parishioners
A warm welcome as you enter our Parish Community! You are asked to register at the
parish office as soon as possible, 419-446-2150. If you are moving from the parish,
please inform the office so we may remove your name from our parish roster.
Sacrament of Marriage
Initial arrangements are to be made 6 months prior to the actual wedding day. The Di-
ocesan policy is to allow sufficient time for the couple to make adequate preparation to
receive the sacrament. Please call the rectory to make arrangements.
Sacrament of Baptism
If someone is to be baptized, please call Fr. Stanbery. All parents must attend pre-
baptism sessions for their first child. Call the rectory to make arrangements, 419-446-
9288.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

St. Mary Church, Edgerton, OH Fall Festival Sunday, September 24, 2017 Festival includes a family style chicken and ham dinner serving from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. Cost is $10.00 Adults and $4.00 Children 12 and under. Also there is plenty of entertainment on the church grounds under a big tent. Activities include: Bingo, Silent Auction, Kids and Youth games, Inflatable fun jump, 21 prize miscellaneous raffle with drawing at 4:00 pm, refreshment stand and a comedy/illusion show at 11:30 am and 2:00 pm.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Toledo joins those praying for those who perished, their fami-
lies, and untold numbers of people who are injured, homeless, or facing evacuation after the dev-
astation wrought from Hurricane Harvey. Recovery efforts are expected to take months, if not
years. Your financial support will help with long-term recovery efforts, including needed pastoral
care and support, case management to assist disaster victims navigate the system, and direct
assistance to people unable to get insurance coverage or sufficient government support from
FEMA. As in past disasters, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo is collecting and forwarding dona-
tions dollar for dollar to sister Catholic Charities agencies. Checks should be made out to Catholic
Charities Diocese of Toledo, with a Hurricane Harvey Recovery notation, and sent to 1933 Spiel-
busch Avenue, Toledo, OH 43604.

Bishop Thomas will preside for the Order of Blessing Married Couples within Mass on the Anniver-
saries of Marriage on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy
Rosary Cathedral. Please encourage couples in your parish celebrating 25, 40, 50, 60 and 60
plus years of marriage in 2017 to attend and be honored for their commitment to the Sacrament
of Marriage. Registration for this event concludes on September 15, 2017. Each registered cou-
ple will receive a commemorative certificate at the reception immediately following Mass. Late
registrations will be accepted, however, advanced printing of certificates (can be mailed at a later
date) and inclusion of names in the printed worship aid many not be possible.
This year there are 3 ways to register:
1. Couples can register directly online at toledoanniversarymass.org
2. Couples may register with the parish office. Parish staff can register couples online
toledoanniversarymass.org or forward the information to [email protected]
3. Couples may directly contact Marsha Rivas in the Department of Discipleship and Family Live,

On Monday, September 18,
Msgr. Ken Mormon will be
at St. Peter at 7:00 pm to
give a presentation on
Genesis 1-11. Msgr.
Mormon is the pastor of
Norwalk St. Paul and was a
former professor of
scripture at Mt. St. Mary
Seminary. Treats and
fellowship will follow.
New convert (RCIA) classes will start soon. If you are interested in looking into the Catholic Church or you know someone, please call Fr. Stanbery ASAP.
