The Celebration of the Lord’s SupperGod tells us in 1 Corinthians to examine ourselves before communing. We encourage those communing to ask themselves:
• Do I believe that I am a sinner?• Do I believe that Jesus Christ is our only Savior from sin, death and Satan?• Do I believe that Christ is present in this Sacrament, even if I do not
understand how, with His very Body and Blood, given and shed for my sins, as the Word of God declares?
• Do I have a desire to live the kind of life God asks me to live, but recognize that I cannot do that apart from the power of the Holy Spirit, who works in this meal to embolden and strengthen my faith?
If this is your confession, you are welcome to commune here. Hold your hand out to receive the host (wafer). Children not instructed or those of a different confession may come forward with their arms crossed to receive a blessing.Non-alcoholic wine is in the middle of the tray. LENTLent is a time to understand our Lord a little more, so that when Good Friday and Easter arrive, it is not just another day at church but an opportunity to receive the overflowing graces God has to offer. Lent services are Wednesdays now thru Holy week. Join us each Wednesday at 11a or 7p. Immediately after the evening service we invite you to join the practicing prayer group.

The Gospel of John takes us behind the ministry of Jesus, where we get a glimpse of what it means to believe in Jesus as flesh of the eternal and living God, as the source of light and life. It was written so that all may believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God Who gives eternal life. John’s gospel uses the word “Believe” 98 times and the word “Life” 36 times, in an effort to embed the importance that one must believe in order to live eternally.
