The festivities continue from 8am to 7pm on Saturday where you will find the downtown square transformed into a 19th century style scene with Dickens characters, entertainment of all kinds, including SNOW and a snow slide, and activities for children. Food and craft vendors are set up on the Square and your Downtown Merchants will be open later and longer hours. Stay local and start your family Christmas celebration with “A Dickens Christmas in Lockhart!” The activities are free because of gracious sponsors. Please join us! Randolph-Brooks F.C.U. Last year, our major contributors were Randolph Brooks FCU along with Todd Blomerth & Patti Payne, Peggy McConnell, Mike & Beverly Annas, ETR Development, IT Solutions, Del & Betty Tally, Clear Creek, Inc., Wendy R, and Sladek Real Es- tate. If you would like to help, please bring an unwrapped new toy and/or a cash donation to the Chamber office no later than the end of this week, Friday, December 5th. We will celebrate the end of our Toy Drive with our annual “Wrapping Party” on Monday, December 8th at 6pm in the Connection Center at First Lockhart Baptist Church, 200 S. Blanco St.. A Dickens Christmas in Lockhart, Lighted Parade this Weekend

The festivities continue from 8am to 7pm on Saturday where you will find the downtown square transformed into a 19th century style scene with Dickens characters, entertainment of all kinds, including SNOW and a snow slide, and activities for children. Food and craft vendors are set up on the Square and your Downtown Merchants will be open later and longer hours. Randolph-Brooks F.C.U. Kicks Off 13th Annual Chamber Toy Drive

Randolph Brooks FCU is kicking off our 13th Annual Toy Drive with a huge purchase of toys on December 2nd, along with a turkey for each family from Head Start here in Lockhart. The Chamber of Commerce is asking the community and our Chamber members to help with donations for the rest of the toys needed this year. For 2014 we have received requests from 45 families with a total of 127 children. The Chamber’s goal is to give each child 2 toys. Last year, our major contributors were Randolph Brooks FCU along with Todd Blomerth & Patti Payne, Peggy McConnell, Mike & Beverly Annas, ETR Development, IT Solutions, Del & Betty Tally, Clear Creek, Inc., Wendy R, and Sladek Real Es-tate. If you would like to help, please bring an unwrapped new toy and/or a cash donation to the Chamber office no later than the end of this week, Friday, December 5th. A note from the Chairman of the Board: Dear Chamber Members, The Board of Directors of the Lockhart Chamber of Com-merce is pleased to announce that Ms. Angela Rawlinson has been named President/CEO. Ms. Rawlinson joined the Chamber in September, 2013 as our Member Services Manager. Since August of 2014, she has been successfully performing the duties of interim president as well as maintaining all other responsibilities associated with effectively managing Chamber business. Ms. Rawlinson possesses over two decades of high-level business & financial management as the former Chief Executive of Business Operations for the largest medical specialty group of its kind in Central Texas. We are very excited, and have the utmost confidence that Ms. Rawlinson will lead our chamber to the best of her abilities as she continues to prove her loyalty and dedication to the betterment of our economic growth to benefit the members of the chamber, as well as all citi-zens of our community.
