Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem because Caesar Augustus had declared everybody had to go to the place where they were born. They were both born in Bethlehem so they tried to find an inn but the only place was a stable.

Joseph put the donkey with the other animals and by the time he went back to Mary,baby Jesus had been born. Mary had wrapped him in a cloth and laid him in a manger to sleep.

The Angel told the shepherd while he was counting his sheep, that baby Jesus had born in Bethlehem.

The three wise men followed the shinning star in the sky. They brought gifts of myrrh frankincense and gold. This is special because this was Gods only son. The three wise men followed the shinning star in the sky.They brought gifts of Frankincense, Gold and Myrrh to the new born king.
