College of Florida on August 5, 12 and 19 at 5:30 PM in the Worship Center.

Though these passages appear in the last and sometimes mysterious book of Revelation,

they are addressed to us - the present day church.

The seven churches of Asia Minor were facing similar challenges that our church

faces. Jesus spoke directly to them and we look for Him to speak similarly to us on

these three Sunday evenings.

Notes from Tim

Summer break is almost over and Fall is just around the

corner. That means our entire choir ministry will soon be

in full swing again! If you have ever considered singing

in the Celebration Choir, now is an excellent time to join.

We started practicing again this past Wednesday; the

excitement and enthusiasm was over the top! We are

working on new music and will soon be introduced to our

Christmas Musical, “Hope for the Ages”. This would

be a great time to unite with this happy band of singers.

We rehearse in the Worship Center every Wednesday at

6:00 PM. And to make things a little easier, we provide

rehearsal CD’s for all the new music that we sing! Won’t

you join us??

If you are a Student in grades 6 through 12, or perhaps

you are the parent of a student that age, don’t miss this:

Student Choir will star t with a bang on Sunday,

August 19 at 5:00 PM in the Choir Room. We will be

singing in the Christmas musical this year and need every

available student to join us. And not only that, we are

going to learn some of the high energy songs that the

Adult Choir is learning and will be singing with them on

Sunday morning on occasion. It’s going to be a great

experience!

Preschool Praise (ages 4-5) and Kidz Praise (grades 1-

5) will begin on Sunday, September 9 at 5:30 PM. These

choirs are excellent opportunities for your child/children

to learn the basics of music while worshipping their

LORD. Parents, we need your help. If you will bring

your child each Sunday, we have a very capable team of

leaders that will teach them to sing and worship. It’s a

great opportunity!

Our first JOY Ministry Luncheon of the new church year

is scheduled for Tuesday, August 14 at 11:00 AM. Our

theme for the day is “Back to School”. Ms. Kathryn

Boswell, one of our retired educators, will call our class

to order and test our cognitive skills. Lunch will be

provided. Don’t miss this enjoyable day of delicious

food, warm fellowship, and great fun. We will see you

there!

Sincerely His,

Tim

THE WILD BROTHERS: WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!

Get ready to meet the sons of Mike and Libby Wild, a

homeschooling missionary family that lives deep in the

jungle of a remote Pacific island. These four modern-day

missionary kids adventure far into creation and discover

the rich wildlife and tribal life of the South Seas Islands.

Children will be inspired as the Wild family joins in to

build a mountain house, then carves an airstrip out of the

dense jungle. Witness "creation care" in action as the Wild

brothers adopt orphaned jungle animals. And see what

homeschooling in a jungle house looks like.

Best of all, you'll love allowing your kids to watch as the

Wild family shares that knowing and serving Jesus is the

ultimate adventure!
