The CLX-T Xenon Light Source

Flexibility and Affordability in a Compact Xenon Light Source.

The Luxtec® CLX-T Xenon Light Source allows you

to use most endoscopic and laparoscopic instruments

with an affordable, compact Xenon light source. The

CLX-T has a turret that lets you use fiberoptic instrument

cables with ACMI, Olympus, Storz and Wolf end-fittings.

In return the CLX-T gives you a consistent bright white light that

is closest to natural light for enhanced tissue color definition, unlike

halogen's yellow tone or metal halide's blue tone and color variability.

Each port is clearly marked with an indicator to display the active

port for ease of use. Each port also includes a light blocking feature, as

recommended by ECRI Institute, so that when a light guide is removed

the light is blocked.

A simple twist of the attenuator ring adjusts light output.

Safe and Environmentally Friendly The CLX-T light source is designed with safety in mind. It has cardiac float (CF) electrical safety certification and a Power Factor Corrected (PFC) power supply for use in all healthcare facilities or offices. In addition, the Xenon lamp is environmentally friendly. It contains no mercury salts like some other High Intensity Discharge (HID) systems. Unlike metal halide lamps, the Xenon lamp does not require special waste handling for Mercury. The Xenon lamp can be instantly started, unlike metal halide lamps which require a warm up period to excite these salts to create the light.

Compact Design Fits Your Environment The Luxtec® CLX-T gives you more than just high quality lighting and affordability — it also gives you more space. The CLX-T is based on a new, more space-efficient design that fits easily into smaller spots. The CLX-T can also be mounted to a floor stand for safe and easy room-to-room por tability.
