HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIRE & PANCAKE BREAKFAST 11/16 The St. Lucy School Booster Club's Annual Holiday Craft Faire & Pancake Breakfast will be held on Sunday, November 16. The Gym will be filled with assorted crafters and their creative hand-made items as well as raffle prizes (winner need not be present). Don't miss out on this oppor-tunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping. The Craft Faire will be open between 9:00 a.m. ad 1:00 p.m. You will find great gift ideas for those hard-to-buy-for friends and family members. Altar Society Mass and Meeting Thursday, November 6

On Thursday, November 6, Fr. Kevin Joyce will say a Mass at 11 AM in celebration of the deceased members of the St. Lucy Altar Society. Our business meeting will be held in the PAC following the mass. There will be a soup and bread lunch served so members are asked to bring a soup bowl and soup spoon. Georgie Wolf is collecting new infant clothing (6mo. to 12 mo.) or contributions for the Di-ocesan Layette Program . If you would like to contribute, please bring your gift or donation to the meeting. All parish-ioners are welcome to join us for the Altar Society Mass and meeting on Thursday.

First Wednesday Mass and Novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help

Everyone is invited this coming Wednesday, November 5, to celebrate the Novena-Mass in honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. The Novena-Mass is celebrated here at St. Lucy church every first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM. And on other Wednesdays, the Novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help is observed at 6:30 PM preceded by the praying of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM.

Fr. Kevin's Spirit Seeker Seminar November 9th, 4 pm in the PAC

"The Fulfillment of All Desire" is the theme for the 2014-2015 seminars, based on Ralph Martin's book by the same name (available at the Parish Office and the seminar or from Amazon.com). The theme of the Nov 9 session is "Called to Holiness" (pp. 1-16). All are welcome.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Play (in Spanish)

Un rostro para contemplar: El Gran Papa Juan Pablo II declaró: Queremos ver a Jesús (Jn 12:21). "Esta solicitud, dirigida al apóstol Felipe por algunos griegos que habían hecho una peregrinación a Jerusalén para la Pascua, ha resonado también espiritualmente en nuestros oídos. Como aquellos peregrinos de hace dos mil años, los hombres y las mujeres de nuestro día propio ----- quizás no siempre conscientemente --- piden que los creyentes no sólo "hablen" de Cristo, sino en cierto sentido, se lo enseñen. Y la tarea de la Iglesia es reflejar la luz de Cristo en cada época histórica, y hacer brillar su cara antes de todas las generaciones. Nuestro testigo, sin embargo, sería enorme-mente deficiente si nosotros mismos no habíamos "contemplado su rostro". Nuestra mirada es más que nunca fija en el rostro del Señor. Adoración del Divino Sacramento nos muestra a Jesús. En el Cantar de los Cantares, Nuestro Divino Amante dice: "¡Levántate, amada mía, hermosa mía, y ven! Déjame verte, Déjame oír tu voz, porque tu voz es dulce, y usted es precioso. (Cant. 2: 23-14) ¡Queremos ver a Jesús y Él lo desea de nosotros! Feria Navideña de Artesanías y Desayuno de Pancakes de la Escuela Santa Lucia: Se llevará a cabo el domin-go, 16 de noviembre. Habrá varios artesanos con sus ar-tículos hechos a mano en el gimnasio, así como sorteo de premios (el ganador no necesita estar presente). No se pierda esta oportunidad para ventajear sus compras navi-deñas. La Feria de Artesanías estará abierta entre las 9AM y la 1PM. También puede, disfrutar del desayuno de pan-cakes servido de 8AM a las 11AM. El desayuno cuesta $6 en la puerta. Este evento beneficia el mantenimiento del gimnasio y el programa de atletismo de la escuela parro-quial.

Ministerio de Mantón de Oración

Necesitamos tu apoyo para realizar la Obra las Apariciones de la Virgen de Guadalupe y recordar la petición de la Virgen a Juan Diego de que se le erija un templo “Para mostrar y dar todo mi amor, compasión, auxilio y defensa, pues yo soy vuestra piadosa Madre” Si quieres ser parte de la obra te es-peramos todos los Jueves y loa Sábados a las 6:30 p.m. en la Iglesia. Misa y Reunión de La Sociedad del Altar de Santa Lucia

Jueves, 6 de noviembre

El jueves, 6 de noviembre el padre Kevin Joyce dará una misa a las 11 am en la celebración de los miembros difun-tos de la Sociedad del Altar de Santa Lucía. Nuestra reunión y junta se llevará a cabo en el PAC después de la misa. Habrá un almuerzo de sopa y pan servido. Traiga un plato de sopa y cuchara de sopa. Estaremos recolectando nueva ropa infantil (6 meses a 12 meses). Si usted le gus-taría contribuir, por favor traiga su regalo o donación a la reunión. Todos los feligreses están invitados.

Todos están invitados este próximo miércoles 5 de noviem-bre para celebrar la Misa-Novena en honor de Nuestra Se-ñora del Perpetuo Socorro.
