celebrate • honor • thank

If you have, THANK YOU! If you haven’t, please consider the following:Ruth Shain helped found TCH in 1923 because of her passion to serve those in need, to give people access to services they couldn’t get elsewhere, and to provide a gathering place for groups. TCH became the “heart” of the community. Today we serve an even larger population, but our priorities have remained the same.Your gift helps us continue the mission Ruth Shain started 92 years ago:• Provide literacy, leadership, nutrition and art classes and training to over 1000 at-risk children in

Metro Detroit.• Provide a space where over 210,000 people can come to learn, connect and help themselves and

others.• Allow TCH to annually subsidize 15 nonprofit and sponsored groups with free

meeting space & administrative support.

In MELT we work with the connective tissue system – a system diet and exercise don’t address. Through positive compression and tension techniques, you will improve alignment, muscle timing, and balance while reducing inflammation, joint compression and pain. If you feel stiff in the morning, have neck, back, or shoulder pain, trouble sleeping, or feel great and want to stay that way, give MELT a try. You will feel positive changes in your body in the first 10 minutes of class. MELT is the missing link to wellness! Participants must purchase a MELT soft roller for $65. LAUGHTER YOGAFun with Laughter

It has been scientifically proven that laughter is the best (and cheapest) medicine you can give yourself. The

benefits are: Relaxation; release of endorphins, producing overall sense of well being; increase in oxygen intake and blood flow, improving blood vessel function and lower blood pressure; helps you feel more emotionally grounded. Those consequences, when accompanied by empathy, hit home with mind-changing power.
