FIESTA AND RAFFLE FUNDRAISER

Our annual Raffle Fundraiser on June 16th was a big success, we raised more than $3,600.00!

Cuda parent, Lan Yim won the Salsa contest for her tasty Mango Salsa and this year’s 2012 trophy

winner of the “Most Wanted” raffle basket of the evening was donated by the Sotelo Family, themed

“Girls Rock.” The delicious Fiesta dinner was catered by Tacos For Any Event. The dinner included a

full Taco Bar, salad, rice and beans and Fresco World Market discounted an assortment of Mexican

cookies and churros for dessert. Thank you to all the Cuda families and Creekside members for

their donations and participation in this event!

CREEKSIDE IS NOW ON FACEBOOK!

Facebook has been an ever growing epidemic among social media and it has changed the way we

live our lives entirely. There's not a day that goes by that Facebook users don't wonder if a thought or

action is post worthy. Well the Creekside Cabana Club is now part of the ever growing social media

giant! That's right! We have our very own Facebook Page!

Rayna Beltran, one of the Creekside Interns, launched a brand new Facebook page earlier this sea-

son and we are proud to announce that we already have 180 friends and counting. The hopes for the

page are to update swimmers on events and meets and connect the swimmers with their captains.

All of the best moments thus far have been captured on camera and posted on our page! Share your

excitement with others and make sure to visit the page to find out detailed information about future

What’s come & what’s coming……..

Thanks to the efforts of the Creekside staff, especially the interns, the rallies and social events have

been a huge success thus far! Last Friday's, June 22nd, rally was definitely a hit and that was obvious by the

pictures captured which will be posted online soon. See pictures of your Coach, Lucas, getting creamed in the

face at our “Cream The Team” rally. It was utter chaos at the club house as about fifty little Cudas branding

whip cream cans scoped the scene for their next victim. The clean up was a pain but totally worth it just to see

the looks on the children's faces! Not only was there an outbreak of whip cream fights but all four captains sat

in chairs while every single little Cuda swimmer lined up and patiently waited for their turn to pie their favorite

captain in the face! Below are some pictures of past rallies for your viewing pleasure!

As many of you may have realized, the Championship meet is almost upon us. This year’s Champion-

ship meet will be held on July 14th at the Santa Clara Swim Center. The Cudas are the host for this year’s meet

and as usual we have gone above and beyond the norm for this event. We have a special surprise for all of the

swimmers this year, something that has never been done before so make sure to come check it out!

From the Manager:

Dear Creekside Members,

The summer is off to a great start here at the Cabana Club! Many people have tak-

en advantage of the pool to cool off on hot days and it has been wonderful to see every-

one. I do need to remind you all that Creekside is a Members-Only facility, and the only

people who can use a Member Lot Number are the ones currently living in the house and

listed on the updated Emergency Form. Friends and family who do not live in your

house cannot use your number to enter the Club. Please feel free to invite them to ac-

company you as your guests!

Our Members-Only policy helps us keep everyone safe and accountable, and allows

us to better maintain the facility. Thank you for helping us to better serve you. We look

forward to many more days of summer fun at the pool with you!
