The crude oil is in a sheet of water proof rock: the rock mother.

Then it goes to the petroleum trap or to the superficial oil field if it is risen towards the surface.

The petroleus trap is pierced by a big auger. It is supported by the derrik’s tower and is connected with a rotating table.

From the petroleus trap, the crude oil is pushed out by the gas and it reaches some tubes.

Then the oil is put in a decantation tank. From here the oil goes into the pipelines and it reaches the refineries.

The oil is extracted from the sea too, with the use of platforms.

At the end the oil is worked in the division tower.

The principal products are: kerosene, diesel oil and petrol.
