You will be able to see the most impres-sive river gorge in Europe in the National Park Iron Gate, wide areas of lowlands, plenty of river branches and the moun-tain of Fruška Gora region, famous for its monasteries and wine. The biggest

Discover Novi Sad from the Danube river

Tour: Danube sightseeing at Novi Sad and surrounding river islands, one day in advance to reserve. Duration: one hour. Cost: about 5 euros per person. Departure: Kamenjar village.

Cruising with a catamaran

Cruises all year round on the Sava and Danube, with culinary specialities of top chefs and professional sound system in two catamarans, one taking 110 and one 70 passengers.

Daily Tours: The „MB“ and the „Duck“ Ships (Catamaran) offers daily sightseeing tours at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.Duration: 2 hours. Price: 350 dinars (about 4 euros).Departure from Ušće.

Daily Cruise along Danube

Discover Belgrade: by the Sava and Danube rivers with the ships “Danka” and “Carpe Diem”; departure daily about every 20 minutes from 7 am to 7 pm from the docks “Brankov most” (at the bicycle lift), “Ada Ciganlija” and “Block 70”. This boat trips are part of the Belgrade city traffic. Transporting bicycles is possible. Price: 50 dinars (about 0, 6 euros).

Dinner-Time-Cruising: every Thursday and Friday evening from 10 pm to 1 am. Price: 1.650-2.100 dinars (about 20-25 euros - depending on your choice of the menu).

For the Dinner-Time-Cruising you have to reserve. Departure from Zemunski kej.

Sirona-CruisesExplore Belgrade from the river.

Morning-Cruise: Tour of the bridges on the Sava River, towards Ada Ciganlija and Ada Međica. View on the Confluence - Ušċe and Kalemegdan fortress, with all its landmarks. Towards Dorcol, the Pančevo bridge and Zemun, the Great War Island, the Gardoš Tower and Zemun Quay. Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 11 am. Price: 500 dinars (about 6 euros).

Afternoon-Tour: Cruise by Kalemegdan, Ušċe, Dorċol, Gardoš, Nebojša tower... Fridays and Sundays from 6 pm to 7 pm. Price: 600 dinars (about 7 euros).

Brunch-Tour: Along a lunch and pleasant music, cruising to the bridges on the Sava River, by the Belgrade Fair, the neighborhoods of New Belgrade, Čukarica, Ada Ciganlija and Ada Međica. Sundays from 1 pm to 3.30 pm. The price of 1800 dinars (about 20 euros) includes a two hour cruise, lunch, and a glass of champagne.

Belgrade at night: While you enjoy the Sirona cuisine, watch the Kalemegdan fortress, Sava bridges, Ada Ciganlija, Ušċe and Zemun float by. Belgrade is most beautiful at night. Friday from 9 pm to 11.30 pm and Sunday from 8 pm to 10.30 pm. The price of 2000 (about 25 euros) dinars includes a two hour cruise with dinner and a welcome drink, as well as live music.

For „Brunch tour“ and for „Belgrade at night“ a reservation is necessary.

Exploring history from the Danube site

Tour: Kladovo, Turkish Fortress Fetislam, Roman city Turn Severin, remains of the 1900 years old Trajan‘s bridge and reconstructed Fortress Ada-Kale on the Roman island Šimijan. In 2009 the forth detailed map for the Danube Cycle Route from Budapest to the Black Sea, over Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania is available.

The signposting of the Danube cycle route in Serbia has been completed in the length of 550 km, that means more than 85% of the route in Serbia is signposted.

Lepenski Vir Museum - Tekija Village

1 Lepenski Vir Museum Heart of the Iron Gate, archeologial sites and the Lepenski Vir Museum, with the remains of one of the oldest human civilizations (to 6500 BC) 0 km

2 Canyon of the Boljetin River From the parking place of the museum, take the old, narrow asphalt road over the cliffs and cross the narrow canyon of the river Boljetin with its ancient rocks. 0.8 km

3 Panoramic StandBecause of its width, the Danube looks like a sea. When you arrive here, you will have the second biggest uphill of the Serbian Danube Cycle Route in front of you (2km length, 125m difference in height), a beautiful slope along the Danube follows.

4 Crossing Here you can take the way to the town of Majdanpek and visit the beautiful Open Air Gallery (1.7km length, 80m height difference) or you can drive directly to the town called Donji Milanovac.

6 Bridge over the Little River PorečSince the level of Danube had risen after the construction of the Ðerdap Hydroelectric Power Plant, the small town of Poreč had to be rebuilt on the higher level. The remains of the old town are still lying underneath the water and can be seen from the bridge when the level of Danube is low.

A unique view of the narrowest point of the Danube Canyon. Here, the Danube is only 150m wide and 90m deep. There is a water spring, please drive carefully through the long tunnel.

9 Varnica Baloon

The Balloon is situated at the River Traffic Light Station. Before the construction of the Đerdap artificial lake, there was little space and only two boats could pass by each other. Because of this, a metal alarm with a big aluminium ball was used to manage the boat traffic. Beginning of the most difficult uphill of the Serbian Danube Bicycle Route, at the length of 4km, represents a 180m level difference to be managed. At the Romanian side, the Decebal Hills can be seen.

National Park Đerdap (Iron Gate)

National Park Fruška Gora

In the National Park of Fruška Gora there are nu-merous hiking routes marked in the beautiful countryside. There are also numerous enjoyab-le views along the Danube. The routes pass by some of the 17 Serbian Orthodox monasteries dating from XV – XVIII century.

You can receive comprehensive information in English with suggestions of the routes and maps on the webpage of the National Park of Fruška Gora.

The starting point of the tours is in Donji Mila-novac. All tours have professional quides employed in National park „Iron Gate“. During the tours you can experience the unique natural surroundings. Picnics or meals are often included as a part of the tour.
