ACADEMICAN REMARK
I have been working as a lecturer in the university established in 2010, at the
department of Mechanical Engineering since 2012. I chose this university because it
is located in the capital, Ankara and the language of instruction is in English. Its
location in the major city, Ankara also provides social and cultural opportunities to the
students and academicians.
When the developments and targets of our university in the near future are taken into
consideration, it is obvious that the students who graduated from this university are
guaranteed to have qualified missions and position in their business life.

STUDENT OPINION
I am studying at Mechanical Engineering Department of Yıldırım Beyazıt University.
When I had to do choose the university, I was insisted on studying in the department
of mechanical engineering, but I could not decide on the university. My OSYM score
was enough to be accepted to Gazi University Department of Mechanical
Engineering and Hacettepe University Department of Automotive Engineering. Then,
I heard that Yıldırım Beyazıt University is going to accept its first students that year
and the language of instruction is in English. After I did some research about the
department of the university, I found out that the academic staff is quite successful
and devoted individuals. This prompted me to choose to study Yıldırım Beyazıt
University for my study.
The first point that attracted my attention when I started to study in YBU was its
sincere atmosphere. We can easily contact with lecturers, and they are always
concerned with us. They do their best to meet our expectations. The head of
department, the dean, the president accept students and spare time with us. There is
a friendly atmosphere, which compensate for the nonexistence of the campus.
