Helical Screw Piles
A steel pile with helical plates placed at strategicpositions along the shaft. The plates give the foundationboth tension and compression bearing capacity. Piles arenormally connected in groups to a steel load transfergrillage. No concrete is needed.
Angel Pile
A single helical pile with a winged sleeve attachment.The winged section is driven over the shaft of a helicalpile, to give the foundation extra lateral stability in thesofter top soil.
Tubular Driven Steel Piles
A large hollow tube, driven or vibrated into the ground inshort sections. A Down-the-Hole (DTH) hammer issometimes used during installation.
GRIP Piles
A rock anchor/shear tube hybrid adapted by ScrewFastfor support work in very hard soil conditions. A largeshear tube which encases the rock anchor is used totransfer the load through soft soils onto bed rock or veryhard strata.
STAR Pile
A steel winged pile, which is driven into the ground toprovide an instant foundation for smaller structures.

Supply & InstallationWe supply a wide range of foundation solutions to meetthe requirements of your individual project. Each helicalscrew pile or alternative foundation is designed based uponaccurate soil testing, site investigation and the loading ofeach structure.
Much of the work undertaken on site requires robustenvironmental management to protect and minimise anyadverse impact from construction. Sites are properlydefined with all protection measures in place and personnelfully briefed on the site requirements. Senior managershave clarity of vision and maturity of judgement, giving ourclients and staff confidence in the way forward.
Monitoring & TestingIn line with ScrewFasts policy of conservative design,regular testing and monitoring of installed foundations iscarried out. This is normally done at the start of a newproject in order to verify that the pile design is correct forthe ground conditions as expected.
TrainingScrewFast will license and train a limited number ofselected contractors who wish to carry out their owninstallations. Details on request.
